I am not a crafty person per se, but I wanted a meaningful and low stress wedding. It was easy to make "roses" with a little time, thread, floral wire, and online tutorials. I wanted a bouquet that was not too delicate for a winter wedding on a cold rocky beach. The white flowers are from my parent's wedding decades ago, so we have a family tradition of "tacky" but durable weddings (and marriages). Bought the navy blue ribbon for my Christmas wrapping. This ribbon feels soft and has an an elegant sheen. The resulting bows were easily manipulated into nicely rounded bows. Unlike some of the reviewers here, I had a continuous roll of ribbon. One roll, went a long way for me. It is very fancy and festive. Very elegant. I think for regular gift wrapping, a more simpler ribbon might be more appropriate, like ribbon with a wire. It could be used for very formal occasions, say a wedding, or a very special gift. Also it would be great for seamstresses/tailors. TY.
