My husband found these on sale, a very good sale, in only this color - which we both loved. I've used them several times now, hiking outdoors. They are very low profile, not bulky and chunky, which is nice. Super comfortable right out of the box. So SO grippy- you feel like a mountain goat, never slipping. Even over jagged rocks, up hillsides. Then this weekend I stepped into full swamp water, a little over halfway up the boot. The inside remained dry as a bone entirely. Walked another mile afterward, still no wetness inside. Especially with the major discount he found, these are GREAT hiking boots.

Purchased these boots wanting a non-slip grip with Vibram rubber for hiking at Lake Tahoe. I previously wore a Columbia hiking boot that was very comfortable, but their Omni-grip proves to not have very good traction. I have high arches so I typically put in an insert for added support. I was nervous when I received the Vasque boots as when I had my inserts in, they did not feel good at all. My husband suggested trying without the inserts and to MY SURPRISE, these Vasque boots have WONDERFUL arch support all on their own! I have a narrow heel as well, and these boots fit great! Not even really giving them a chance to break in (wore them in the house while making dinner); we were off to Tahoe and we hiked 23 miles in three days in ALL different terrain and these boots were awesome! Never a blister, sore spot, NOTHING. Very happy with this purchase! I typically wear a size 8, and I ordered a size 8-1/2 after reading reviews. I do think I could of went with a size 8; but I don't mind an 8-1/2 as I can wear thicker socks for winter hiking. I'm a happy hiker!

I am a mountain goat with these hiking boots! Amazing traction, comfort and quality. I got the 8.5 wide and they are nice and roomy without being too big. I have a bunion on my right foot and I need wide shoes for it. The only thing I wish is that these boots had more ventilation because my feet get pretty hot in them - that is why I did not give them 5 stars. Otherwise these are the best hiking boots I've ever had.

The media could not be loaded. LOVE these boots! They do run a bit narrow as per all the reviews. I normally wear a size 8. I bought a 8.5 wide. They were a little snug getting on and I used a shoe horn. I was not expecting them to fit, but was surprised after getting them on and standing up at just how well and comfortable they did fit. I walked 3 miles today in them and they felt fantastic! I would definitely buy these again. I like the tan color with blue highlights as well. Very nice boots! 👍🏻

I wanted to love these! I wore them around my house for a couple of weeks. They were a little snug across the bunions but they did loosen a bit. They are NOT very cushion-y. My first couple of hikes were short and the boots were great. On a 5-mile hike though I got a pain on the outside of my left knee. I brushed it off but then it happened again. This time, the pain went up to my hip. I changed back to my old boots and had no pain. I think the foot bed on the left boot is misaligned. Now that I've worn them outside I can't return them. Huge bummer. I would NOT recommend these boots at all.

I purchased this same boot several times in the past few years. I used to buy a size 6.5, until this last year, based on my feet changing and possibly a change to the boot fit. They have always run narrow in the heel and arch, and appear to maintain these features. I now order a size 7.5 for roominess in the toe box area. You might want to order these a half a size larger if you plan on wearing heavy socks for activities. These are a light boot for trail/hiking activities, and not for serious backpacking. They are light and sturdy, have great traction, and will last. There are no mesh vents since they are ultra-dry, and have a tendency to be very warm in the summer months. I love the thick, soft padding on the inside and top of the tongue, and all around the ankle support! You never have to worry about sore ankles when hiking for several hours! Like any good boot, they will need breaking in, but not for long. I plan on buying another pair or maybe two!
