  • Not at all true to size
Size: 9.5 Color: Dark Earth/Avocado
I bought these boots based on my experience with the Vasque Juxt, which were excellent. I got these in the same size and have been very disappointed to find that they are extremely narrow through the toe box and, after a week, show no signs of breaking in comfortably. Unfortunately I made the mistake of trusting the company to stick to a uniform sizing model for all of their products, and I ordered them to bring on a trip. Now I've worn them for a week expecting that they would break in, and can't return them. Needless to say, I'm pretty unhappy about the whole experience. My feet hurt like crazy from being squeezed day after day AND I'm out $150 on shoes I'll never wear once I get home. ... show more

  • Good boot but the top lace notches are a little close
Size: 13 Color: Dark Slate/Tawny Olive
I have worn these boots for a little over 6 months now. I've worn them from hiking in the desert around Las Vegas to alpine lakes in Wyoming and everything in between. They are waterproof and they fit very well out of the box. They have held up well and the sole and stiching is all still in great shape. I only have a couple minute complaints about this model is specific. 1. The notches at the top you put your laces through when you leave them all the way up are way too close together when you tighen the boot up. Like almost touching. This will cause the laces to sometimes some off if you leave slack in them to start your tying. Kinda annoying but not a deal breaker as they stay laced even in very rough terrain. I'm using the stock laces as well. Aftermarket ones might be better? Still wouldn't change the fact the notches come really close together. 2. The boot is not insulated AT ALL. Several times I'd thought they were compromised while walking through cold wet grass thinking my socks were soaked only to find that they were just very cold and not wet. My next pair will be insulated but that's really something you should buy more toward what and where you plan to use the boots at. When I'm not out exploring in these boots I'm wearing them almost everyday working on concrete floors. They hold up well and with the right insoles will treat your feet right. Over all I like vasque and I'll be trying a few of their other boots as well. ... show more

  • Fits good.
Size: 9.5 Color: Dark Earth/Avocado
Boots are right to size. Not use to the skinny mid section since for the past year I've been wearing the insulted bulkier boots from vasque and those were great to keep water out but being in the concrete business I wish I would of oiled them boots. I have oiled these up and will follow up with a update on how they hold up. :Update They cracked and leak water through the bottom. I bought another pair of boots. ... show more

  • Exelecent boots
Size: 12 Wide Color: Dark Slate/Tawny Olive
I'm one week into hiking with these boots daily, so far they are extremely comfortable. Quite thick on the sole and quite wide (I ordered them in wide) so if you are a person who orders shoes in wide these will fit perfect. The only other hiking boots/shoes I normally order are merrell and they run quite similar in size and comfort. ... show more

  • I just didn't like them and I've been buying Vasque for over 10 years
Size: 11.5 Wide Color: Dark Slate/Tawny Olive
I usually buy the Breeze line. So a company makes the best hiking shoe in the business and the top execs decide - hey, lets CHANGE IT UP. Why, WHY I don't understand the new business model. Here's a little tip to all the Warton business graduates. Crap is still crap, no matter how many times you change it. JUST MAKE A GOOD PRODUCT and people will buy it. Back to the boot. Buy the Breeze line. The older ones were better but the new version is OK. ... show more

  • Nice Boot 8.5
Size: 8.5 Color: Dark Earth/Avocado
I just got these so I can't speak to durability. I like the fit. I would say I am a true 8.5 neither wide nor narrow. If you made me pick one I would say I lean narrow rather than lean wide. They fit me just great with a thin sock and I can put on a thicker sock. I think it might get tight with a super thick sock but I don't know because they will have to break in for quite some time. Very comfortable. I have worn them all day for a couple days. They are warm but not hot. I have not gotten them wet yet. I'll report back after some months. So far I am pleased with them. ... show more

  • Out of the box
Size: 10 Color: Dark Earth/Avocado
Sized up because of reviews, I think my size in wide would have fit, but I do have some wiggle room for my toes. Out of the box, feel comfortable will update after I have worn them for a couple days. Use to always wear sundowner but these had better review on all sites I looked.

  • Great, get 1 to 1/2 size larger
Size: 10.5 Wide Color: Dark Slate/Tawny Olive
Great boots, but take the advise that they do run on the smaller side. At least for me, I got the 1/2 size up and they fit nice. I am a geologist and have used many brands of boots over the last 30 years and Vasque has always been one of my favorites for quality and comfort.
