Got this and a couple other tables for our sectional. This is not a large table at all but big enough to put a plate and drink on.Surface is beyond slick. The slides are made of wood and are pretty sturdy and not too heavy. I found it easy to assemble. Very little damage on wooden slides, but nothing drastic. This is a great little table. I needed something small to hold a piece of computer equipment, and it is perfect for the job. I was impressed with how well the unassembled table was packed for shipping -- it arrived in perfect condition. None of the parts had any scratches or other surface blemishes. I was equally impressed that the manufacturer supplies an extra bolt of each size, in case one gets lost. The table was easy to assemble, and took me about 15 minutes to complete. The instructions are pretty much diagram-only, but it would be easy to figure out how to put the table together even without instructions. The resulting table is sturdy, easy to adjust for floor unevenness, and looks just like the picture on Amazon's web site. My one minor complaint (not enough to change my rating) is that labels stuck to the shelves were made of thin paper, and were not easy to remove. (Some form of plasticized labels would have been been more convenient.) When they were peeled off, a sticky residue remained. I was able to wipe away this residue using a paper towel dabbed with acetone-based nail polish remover. This technique did not harm the surface texture or color of the shelving. ... show more
