I was glad to have gotten it on sale for the same price as the seller's website and utilize Amazon prime for the shipping advantages. My box was well packed, and another review mentioned, as a result, there was some static and fluff from the packing material. That didn't bother me at all, though, because it prevented the pieces from getting scratched and broken in transit. I just vacuumed and swept the living room after assembling it. All items were included, and I did receive the instruction booklet. It was easy for me to assemble by myself with the included Allen wrenches and a Phillips and flathead screwdriver. It took me about an hour and a half to assemble while distracted watching a show. I appreciate how sturdy the furniture is, with additional hardware to ensure the sturdiness. Some reviewers were upset that it is not real wood. I knew that, at this price point and shipping weight, that it would not be, so was they say, "You get what you pay for." I like the look of the furniture. The doors on the sides have magnetic closures to click them open and closed. There is a small opening in the center back behind the shelf to pull your cords through. These are features I didn't recall noticing or having clarification about before receiving it, but that I am happy about. *Please be aware of the dimensions before you order it. It is a short piece of furniture, shorter than some other TV stands, and the seller does give the dimensions for a reason.* I love it. I am looking forward to ordering the coffee table and bookshelves soon. ... show more

This tv stand arrived in a very timely manner, was very easy to assemble, seems very sturdy and fits both my tv and room perfectly. The storage space is just barely large enough to handle the components I need (two game consoles and a subwoofer), though I did need to make some modifications to the back panel to accommodate everything. Those modifications included cutting holes for additional cord passthrough in the cabinet spaces and adding cooling fans to the center shelf spaces to remove the excessive heat generated by a PS5. Other than those required modifications, which admittedly are due to my specific needs, the only real problem I have is the latch magnets on the cabinet doors are very weak and poorly aligned. The magnets barely work at all to hold the doors closed and the pre drilled installation holes for them mean one cabinet door is always flush with the front while the other is pulled inward almost a quarter inch. It is a minor issue, but one I repeatedly notice thanks to the rest of the stand being so good. All in all, this is an excellent tv stand, especially for small/limited spaces. ... show more

I'm no handyman. And in fact, I've never assembled a piece of furniture until this stand: I spent a good 5 hours doing so. Overall, it's easy to assemble, and you don't need many tools. It also comes with a free screwdriver if you didn't already have one (like me). It looks pretty nice, and it seemed sturdy. My only complain is the manual: yes, people love visuals, but it wouldn't hurt having written instructions to go along with the images; you have to put a lot of attention to try and figure out what they mean sometimes. ... show more

I was a little hesitant to order after reading a few negative reviews. But I'm glad that I took a chance. The item appeared as displayed. Looks really nice. I do agree with one of the reviewers that there should be written instructions as well. It took me a good amount of time to put together and I'm the person in my family who they come to assemble purchases. And I'm in my 70s. I also wish that it could have been a little taller. I bought this tv stand because I needed a place to put a 50" tv, and let me tell you, this did the trick. It was easy to assemble, and I'm generally an idiot when it comes to assembling things. It looks good, too. The wood is dark, and the thick, angled legs lend to its vintage aesthetic. I will say, I wish they made a wider version. This fits my 50" television with no issue but anything bigger might be too much. A wider stand might also allow for more storage underneath. As it stands, you can fit some DVDs or maybe a few sandwiches, but not much else. That said, if you are working with limited space, this might be just the ticket. I have the matching end table, too, and I like how the pair works in tandem. VASAGLE has some quality stuff for a reasonable price. I'm a fan. ... show more
