If you're looking for a desk, look no further. I might be beating a decayed horse when I say it's very VERY sturdy. Top seems solid, heavy, and had no defects. Great packaging. Frame is metal tubing that is absolutely not going anywhere. Only 3 parts to assemble: Top, Frame, Legs. And only 2 different types of screws which are different and will only fit in their correct holes. Either each type of screw comes with an extra one OR my desk might fall apart. But for real, absolutely great quality for the price. It went together easy, looks and feels great and is height adjustable. Not enough good things to say. It just works. I didn't pay $100+ for it.     • Strong desk, nice appearance.
This is a solid, sturdy desk. You could sit on it if you needed to. Very easy to put together. The surface looks really nice. It is technically particle board but you can't tell that by looking at it. I only know because I damaged mine when I was taking it out of the box and the surfacing chipped. Just be careful taking it out of the package. The corners on the desk top are packaged very tightly to protect them in shipping, and if you lean it on an edge to get it out of the box, you can crack the corners as they tear away from the packaging. So just make sure you carefully unpack the corners, and don't try to pull the top out of the packing by force. I damaged one of my corners a bit because it tore away from the corner packaging when I was pulling it unevenly out of the box. Otherwise, these are very solid, heavy and thick wood and legs. The surface also looks and feels nice with a good color and texture. The bottoms of the legs are adjustable, but mine didn't need any adjusting because there was no unevenness from the legs after assembly. I would definitely buy more of these if I need more surface space. ... show more

I was updating my laundry room and wanted somewhere to fold clothing. I wanted it to have an industrial look and feel. I went on Amazon and this was one of the first desks I saw. What a great deal. Very reasonably priced. Super easy to put together (just add the legs to the tabletop). Very sturdy. I placed three laundry baskets below for easy laundry sorting. My family loves it.     • Terrific desk unless you're short with neck problems or want a keyboard tray
So the desk looks terrific and works well as your basic nice looking desk. However, it is tall. So being 5'3", I found it hard to reach my keyboard without experiencing neck pain while sitting at the desk. I have a totally adjustable desk chair, but even at the highest setting, I had this problem. So I decided a keyboard tray would be the solution. However, this desk is not designed for that. Most keyboard trays that clamp onto a typical desk cannot be used with it because underneath the wood top, there is a metal layer so with these two layers, it's too thick to attach a keyboard tray to. I had to get a very expensive keyboard tray that screws in, and even with that, my husband had to change the entire design of the keyboard tray to make it work. So for those short people out there who have neck issues that need their desk to be ergonomically correct, make sure you look at the height of this desk and consider it when purchasing. This obviously does not apply to everyone, and I do have neck issues and need my desk to be ergonomically perfect. Besides all of that, it's a great looking functional desk. ... show more

Well packaged, easy to assemble, as advertised. Triplicate packaging pieces at each corner are excellent in providing actual shipping protection. The overall look is clean, the faux wood finish don't draw too much attention, and the base's metalwork is actually very well executed. Pro tip: when attaching the frame base to the top, don't tighten the fasteners fully; this gives the pieces enough play to get all the fasteners started. Tighten the screws too much, the two pieces can nolonger slide, and it can be a challenge to get all screws aligned. Handsome enough. I love this desk! It's literally everything I was looking for... simple, long, sturdy, affordable, and easy to put together. I'm a 24 year old girl and I was able to assemble this desk alone in maybe 25 minutes. Not to say all young girls aren't mechanically inclined, but I definitely am not. The instructions are very clear, each part is labeled, and they give you everything necessary to put the desk together. No other tools required!! Would definitely buy again! This was the easiest ready-to-assemble purchase of furniture I've ever made. Base to table top, then attach the 4 legs. Boom. It's pretty sturdy, but after a few days of use, does require re-tightening (pretty common) so we'll see how it does after daily use for a month or two. I'm using it as a desk, and it's a good height for comfort, but the chair's arms don't fit under it. No biggie for me, but thought I'd mention it. I really like the melanine or whatever it is finish, too. Looks classy. Heads up, though - SHARP CORNERS! Do not throw away the corner guards, you might want them.
