I originally looked into this "baker's rack" because I needed a sturdy, multi-tiered shelving unit to place next to my standing desk in my home office/studio. It turns out, this is exactly what I needed to reclaim my desk space. The Build & Assembly: The industrial rustic brown wood finish paired with the black metal frame looks surprisingly premium and fits perfectly with a modern tech setup. Assembly was straightforward and took me about 30 minutes. All parts were clearly labeled, and the metal frame feels very solid once everything is tightened down. Real-World Usage & The Best Feature: Instead of microwaves and toasters, I use this to store my daily essentials. The wooden shelves easily support my heavy 40oz Stanley cup, multiple external hard drives, console controllers, and my stack of Nintendo Switch games. The best feature is how well-thought-out the vertical spacing is—it aligns perfectly with my workflow, and the side bars are incredibly convenient for mounting a paper towel roll and hanging my headphones. Pros: Highly versatile – great for an office, studio, or kitchen. Very sturdy metal frame; no wobbling even when loaded with gear. Wood surfaces are water-resistant and easy to wipe down. I opted not to install the upper section and connected only the lower unit. Since its height is nearly identical to my kitchen counter, I simply ordered a separate heat-resistant mat to bridge the gap between them—and it works beautifully. I’m thoroughly pleased with both the size and the quality. For the price this was a very good buy! It was very straight forward on how to put it together. I did it in around an hour but I was taking my time and letting my son help. I have built at least 10 items similar to this so I do have experience. It has little feet that you can adjust so it doesn’t wobble, it has support pieces that make it feel sturdy. I’ve bought similar items but they didn’t have the supports so that makes this purchase a no brainer! I would buy more items from this maker if they all are built like this. If you have a small space this will fit it nicely. I’m using it for a drink station, I put my ice maker on it with all my little drink envelopes and cups. It’s very pretty. I’m happy. ... show more
