Very disappointed with this. The holes did not line up. Some parts that were suppose to have holes did not have holes at all. The back boards were not the correct size so one we had to push into place without screws and the other was tilted due to not having holes and the alinement being off splitting a small part of one of the shelves. It is honestly not hard to build a shelf so I guess for now on I will just build my own from scrap. Probably cheaper as well.

Really disappointed because I’ve been waiting for this book case and I was really excited about it but some screws weren’t fitting because the metal was bent where they were supposed to go and one of the back boards was missing. Really stinks.

Great value it looks high end very sturdy and easy to assemble I put it together in about half an hour in between cleaning and preparing for a party I have small house and it replaced a bigger shelf but looks less cluttered and way nicer

I had a hell of a time trying to put this thing together. I couldn’t get any of the screws that affix the shelves to the stand to tighten with the screw driver they provided or a drill. I ended up having to tighten them with a pair of pliers, which worked but scratched the metal in a few places and was, in general, super time consuming and annoying. The shelf itself is nice looking, but pretty flimsy. If you don’t/can’t screw it into the wall, I’d recommend not using the higher shelves to store anything heavy or valuable. You could probably find a better product for a better value tbh.

I bought this bookshelf because after buying the Maintain bookshelf 3 seperate times, I finally had to admit their price wasn't worth the quality - it kept falling apart! 3. Different. Times. So I bit the bullet and spent a little more than I would've liked on another bookshelf. I went with Vasagle because I've bought another one of their kitchen shelves before. I was expecting to spend more time than I cared putting this together, because I'm NOT a savy person and struggle a lot with assembling product. It took me 35 minutes. It was incredibly easy, and the best part - it's STURDY.

I know it looks nice but stay far away from this one! I have never written a review before but felt compelled to for this one in hopes no one else has to go through what I did. I have purchased quite a few of VASAGLE's products in the past and have never had an issue with them. They have all been easy to build and look great! But this one was a nightmare all around! The quality control is a disaster. First off, I had a defective Part G, which is one of the side metal pieces. It did not have any holes in it. After digging around I managed to find their website which has a live support chat option, great! They responded to me right away and sent out the replacement Part G. A few days later, my new part shows up, yay! Oh wait...this one is defective too! Now this Part G had holes, but they did not line up with the inner shelf pieces. I made my way back to the chat and suddenly, they did not want to talk to me anymore and said to email. Frustrations were very high at this point, and I decided to just screw the holes in myself. It ended up working and you definitely need 2 people to pull it off. It was risky to do but, in the end, it did work out. I do like how the shelf looks (and it is sturdy in my opinion despite other reviews) but it was not worth the hassle. I only chose this one because I've had such success with this brand in the past and really do like their stuff. But I wish I went with a different one. If you're a gambling person, you could still give it a shot. You may end up with pieces that actually fit or can keep getting replacements sent to you until the end of time.
