I really like this boot. That said, it was too big and too loose. I originally bought them for my husband with dementia who can no longer tie his shoes but they were boats on his skinny feet. I wear a half a size larger than my husband. They were even big on me, so I'd recommend ordering a half size down if not a full size down. Them being big on me ended up being a plus, sort of, because they are quick to slip on to walk my dogs. I'd give them a 5, but with heavy use, the inside kind of fell apart after a while. I'm still using them, even wearing them to work when it rains, but if you can't tolerate having smooth surface under your feet, plan to buy an insole after a while with these. They are very water-proof, and good for snow up to about 3 inches. I work outside, and honestly, I might buy another pair when these wear out.

I normally wear a 12 but ended up with a 11. 11.5 was too big for me! I think some of the shoes sizes were mixed up. Velcro could stand to be stronger. Alright for running errands good traction but would not want to wear them all day long. I added insoles that helped a lot.
