This set is really extensive. I think it would be great for anyone getting started with gel nails. I already had a 14 watt lamp but this set comes with an even better one. The 48 watt lamp is nice. It has 30 led bulbs that are spread out well to give good coverage. It has timer buttons for 5, 30, and 60 seconds. It also has auto on/off so it comes on when you put your hand in there. The set also includes what you will need to prep your nails including a nail file, buffer, cuticle pusher, cuticle cutter, and tweezers. There are even toe separators, decorative stickers, and stickers for French tips in various shapes. I almost forgot the nail drill. I already had a similar one but after much use it was starting to act tired, so I am glad they included it. As for the polish it includes base coat, colors, and a few different top coats to choose from. I have used Vanreesa gel polishes before and I find them to be a nice consistency and easy to apply. I hadn't tried their jelly colors before so I was glad they were in the set that I got. I tested them out and they look great. My favorite top coat is the glitter one. It is very small glitter so my nails don't look or feel chunky like some glitters. The look is also more subtle which I really like. This set also came with a gold glitter which I am excited to try next. If there is any criticism I would make it's that the color labels on the bottles only give you approximate colors and some just seem really far off. I ended up putting a dot of polish on the front of each bottle and curing it so that I won't have to guess what it will look like when I am picking a shade. The only other thing I wish they had done was double up on the base coat. That will likely run out first. But it's easy to replace base coat. Overall I am very pleased with my upgraded lamp, replacement drill file, and the huge assortment of great colors for any mood I might have. I've found the colors I've tried so far to wear well without chipping. So I would definitely recommend this for anyone who wants the whole setup for doing gel nails at home. This is a step above the basics with a strong lamp and accessories. They could have skimped in that area but didn't.

This kit really impressed me with everything that's included. Whether you're just getting started with doing your own gel nails or you've been doing them for a while, this set has just about everything you need to create a full manicure without having to buy a bunch of extras separately. The 48W UV nail lamp cured my polish quickly and evenly, and the electric nail drill was easy to use for shaping, smoothing, and prepping my nails. I was pleasantly surprised by how well everything worked together as a complete system instead of feeling like a collection of random tools. The gel polishes have nice pigmentation, apply smoothly, and build up beautifully with a couple of thin coats. I also appreciated the variety of accessories included. Having files, brushes, and other manicure essentials all in one kit made the whole process much more convenient, especially since I didn't have to stop halfway through because I was missing something. The overall quality exceeded my expectations for a kit in this price range. Everything feels thoughtfully put together, and it's a fantastic value considering how much is included. Whether you're doing your own nails to save money, enjoy learning a new hobby, or just love changing your manicure whenever you want, this kit is a great investment. It has everything you need to get started, and it's made doing my own gel nails at home both easy and enjoyable.

This is a fantastic set for someone who is new to gel nail polish. There is a good selection of colors and other nail decorating products such as some bedazzling beads, nail stickers, and french tip stickers. The nail tools are fantastic: the UV light, nail drill, and small nail tools all work very well. The polish brushes are a decent quality so the polish goes on smoothly. There are two things that are missing: dedicated glue for the bedazzling beads -- I have found that glue works better than just relying on gel polish & a top coat; and gel nail polish remover. There are some minor things that I wished VANRESSA did slightly differently in this kit. It would be nice if the UV light had a digital countdown on the top. It would be nice if the quantity of base and top coats was significantly larger. There are seriously so many gorgeous shades in this kit, and they're exactly the kinds of colors I like to wear, so I had to have it. I had the hardest time deciding which one to try first. The polish bottles are a little smaller than standard bottles, but that is not an issue at all. Since I only do my own nails, I'd rather have a huge variety of colors than a few large bottles. I clearly will not be running out anytime soon. Another huge thing is that this kit comes with literally everything you need to get started, including the lamp, drill, base coat, and top coats. It is a really good value considering how much is included. If you've been thinking about doing your own gel nails at home, this kit is an excellent place to start. Between the color selection and everything that's included, it is a great choice.

This is my 4th box of vanressa gel nail big boxes. The gel lasts awhile and its so easy to work with. I actually like to get these around christmas time because they make the perfect gift for someone that is into doing their own nails or other peoples nails. The color collection is great and it comes with everything you need to do your nails nicely. Because its gel, I wouldn't recommend this for children, but if you have a responsible teen and you talk about gel safety this would be a cute little set to get them. I give them to my adult friends so everybody has their own nail collection and its also nice to have on girls night! The polish is long lasting and it cures rather quickly. This is one of the few gel brands that I can wear that doesn't immediately start lifting on my beds.

There is so much packed in this kit and for such a reasonable price. Definitely worth every penny. The gel polish’s are small, but I prefer that. Since it’s for me I don’t have to worry about wasting any. There are so many beautiful colors included and I want to try each one. The quality is typical gel polish. It goes on a little thin, so depending on how rich you like the color will depend on how many coats you’ll need. I love that they included two colors of glitter top coat too. So pretty! You even get a generous amount of cuticle oil. The nail lamp works as good as any other, but I have no idea what you would use the 5 second button for? Otherwise it has 30 & 60 second buttons, the usual cure time. The drill is simple but comfortable to hold. I really like that you don’t have to mess with a shank to remove the bits - but be sure you have it pushed in tightly. My bits arrived scattered but still intact. A nice selection is provided. The stickers included are actually really good quality and look great. Flowers and butterflies plus 3 kinds of French tape to assist in doing French manicure designs. You’re also given a variety of nail charms, and they’re a decent selection to choose from. The tools (tweezers, dotter, scraper & cuticle remover) aren’t the highest quality, but they will definitely get the job done. Good enough for a starter set. The files are fantastic though. Varying grits, good for grinding or fine tuning. Finally you get 3 nail displays. They’re great if you want to see the color before applying it to your nails. I still can’t believe how much they packed into this kit for the price you pay. Not to mention the quality isn’t that bad.

Really depressing that this is my first experience with gel polish and it just doesn't cling on. So this set is great for a beginner. Someone experimenting. It comes with a huge variety of colors and then a few kinds of top coats, a base coat, and a few specialty colors that have glitter in them. Besides the colors it also comes with a nail drill, what look to be some experimental mannequin nails I guess for testing colors, the UV light for the gel polish, and some basic things like files, tweezers, nail separators, nail gems, etc. My issue though and while I rate this set mid is that while everything functions well; the lights, drill, polish colors are amazing. I can't get the polish to stick on. I did it all I the right order. Base coat, polish, top coat. All cured separately. And when I realized those kept coming off I did the suggestion of lightly filing the face of my nails and then applying coats. Still. Didn't work. It was depressing one day to have one pop off and then realize I could just pop them all of without any effort. Never once had to soak in acetone, they just, well, popped off. And before I knew it in minutes I had them all off. I kept trying. Same results over and over. So I hate saying maybe it's the polish. They'll stay on a bit though. It's a decent set otherwise. Peep in the pics all the popped off nails in a cup of polish remover to retrieve the little star sequins.
