Works good on small areas to help water to move into the ground. I use on edge of lawn next to concrete sidewalk where heat from sidewalk stresses the grass. Helps a great deal to let water absorb.

I like the look and handling of the product, however if the ground isn't completely dry, the dirt will pack up on the bottom really bad and you will spend more time cleaning that than you will aerating your yard.

    • Gives grass roots some breathing room
This is not a coring aerator but it works great to give your grass roots room to expand as well as loosening the soil around it. I found flexibility in how many spikes to use. You don’t have to configure it with all 15 spikes, use the spikes that fit your need. Worked great! I recommend this

Not a fan. I bought this item awhile ago and finally had a chance to use it with the weather clearing up. Bad quality product as it just broke after a few usages. Screws barely stay in place and require constant tightening. Get a different product unless you want to waste your hard earned money on this. ... show more

Easy to assemble, good at creating aeration, and was very successful in increasing the germination of seeding. Only gave it four stars because periodically had to stop to clean off the tines. Found ithat using a spray vegetable oil on the tines would decrease the frequency of having to clean the tines. ... show more
