And I have to say, this stand does a great job in that regard. The grip is strong and secure, and I never worry about my phone slipping or sliding around. The stand itself is also very stable, so I don't have to worry about it tipping over if I accidentally bump it. One of the things I really appreciate about this stand is that it's adjustable. I can tilt it to different angles depending on what I'm doing with my phone, whether that's watching a video or typing out a message. The stand is also compatible with a wide range of phone sizes, so I can use it with my current phone as well as any future devices I might get. Another nice feature of this stand is that it's portable. It's not too heavy or bulky, so I can easily pack it up and take it with me if I'm traveling or working from a different location. And because it's so easy to adjust, I can set it up wherever I am and use it comfortably. Overall, I'm really happy with this red phone stand. It looks great, it holds my phone securely, and it's adjustable and portable. I was unable to use the vent mount because of my vehicle so I opted forthe dash/glass mounted version. It'sexactly what I wanted. The bracketmakes a very stable impression. Pros of this one overmy previous car phone mount : -- A lot of items in one package. You could basically mount the car holder anywhere in your car. -- For the ventilationclip, the ads do mention it is compatible with horizontal ventilation, not for vertical, cross, and round vent. I couldn't use it in the car vent but I don't mind it. -- Adjustable. I am able to adjust the viewing angle with no issues. With the adjusting screws, you can really adjustit in any direction and then lock it in the desired position. -- Flexible. You can adjust it to whatever angle you want, also if you have a large phone like me, you can pull down the bottom pad, so your phone will be held inthe middle, this thing really worth the money, at least for me it is. -- Secure. The suction cup sticks by itself and therefore holds very well. which makes it possible to attach the holder with the suction cup and 3M adhesive to the dashboard without wobble. -- Easy operation. With one-touch, both arms release, there are pads in arms to make sure the phone holding inplace, both arms are very large as advertised. Cons - none at this time. UPDATE: I’m changing my review from 3 stars to 4 just because I have been very happy with the vent clip. Customer service also contacted me about sending a replacement (adhesive pad) which I appreciated. I might try to mount it to the dashboard again in the future but for right now I’m happy using the vent clip. When I purchased this my plan was to mount it to my dashboard. I cleaned my dashboard, placed the adhesive pad, pushed down on it firmly for several minutes and then left it for 24 hours like the directions said. The next morning I added the suction cup mount. It held my phone for maybe 10 to 15 minutes before falling off. It was the adhesive pad that came off of the dashboard (the suction cup actually works really well.. I can’t get it off the adhesive pad lol). Apparently the adhesive pad can only be used once so I guess I won’t be putting it back on. I read a lot of reviews before purchasing this item and the ones I saw didn’t seem to mention the adhesive pad not sticking. Maybe I got a defective one? Or maybe I didn’t put enough pressure on it when I was attaching it to my dashboard.. although I’m pretty sure I did!! Luckily, it also comes with a vent clip. That’s why I’m giving it three stars. I just used it on a six hour trip and the vent clip stayed in place and securely held my phone. If it wasn’t for having another option I would be very unhappy with my purchase. ... show more
