Love this! Inexpensive, fragrance free, dye free. Gentle but through cleansing that doesn't dry your skin or remove moisture. I use this as step 2 after using cleansing balm, and it removes all of the cleansing balm and makeup. I have oily sensitive skin and this does not irritate my skin or make me break out. I will always recommend this facial cleanser. It’s so gentle and great for sensitive skin. It also lasts pretty long and is super affordable. It leaves my skin feeling and looking hydrated. It’s pretty good at removing your makeup as well. I typically wash my face and use a silicone face scrubber when I wear makeup. I gave this cleanser a try after seeing so many positive reviews online. It definitely lives up to its name; it’s gentle, non-irritating, and has a clean, simple formula. I really liked that it doesn't have so many ingredients. Unfortunately, it just didn’t work that well for my skin. While it did remove surface dirt, I noticed my pores weren’t getting fully cleaned, especially around my nose and forehead. I started getting more blackheads than usual and eventually went back to my Avene Cleanance gel cleanser. It’s a bit more expensive, but it gives my skin the deep clean I need. This might work well for someone with very sensitive or already-clear skin, but if you need a bit more cleansing power, it may fall short. ... show more

I have been using this cleanser for a long time and I am really satisfied. Using it in the morning can gently remove the oil secreted by the skin at night, and the skin feels refreshing but not dry. At night, I usually use makeup remover to remove makeup first, and then use this cleanser for secondary cleaning. It will not irritate the skin around the eyes or cheeks, and the skin will be soft, clean and comfortable after washing. Its push-type pump head is very convenient to use, and the dosage is just right every time, so it will not be wasted or spread everywhere. This cleanser performs very well in the daily skin care process. Whether it is cleansing in the morning and evening or cleaning after makeup removal, it is very gentle and reliable. Paula Bergoun's books, from what I can recall, espoused a facial cleanser that can take off every bit of makeup. As much as I devoted myself to her findings, this was one thing I didn't believe in or even try. I have relied on cleansing oils, balms and, old faithful, Ponds cleansing cream before reaching for my facial cleanser at night. Honestly, this can make the prospect of makeup removal something to moan about at the end of a day when there's no romanticizing it as a relaxing self care ritual. So one night I just tried it. I splashed water on my face and thoroughly rubbed in a pump or two of this Vanicream cleanser and, maybe this is the trick, wiped it off with my wet bamboo washcloth before rinsing with water. I paid attention to rubbing off my mascara and under my eyes in the process and when I went over my eyes with micellar water there was barely anything on the pad. And when I went over my face with a toner filled pad, it came away clean. So, this is a great way to eliminate clutter in your bathroom and to save money. It also makes packing for travel so much less complicated. Yes, I will use a balm, oil or cream when I feel like it but I don't *have* to. Your mileage may vary depending on how much of a beat you wear, of course. If you need lather to prove a cleanser is working, this might not be for you. It has never stung and I haven't had any painful inflammation or sensitivity using it. It doesn't leave my skin moisturized but it doesn't strip it either. It's really a great buy. ... show more
