It isn't a heavy moisturizer by any means, but it helps with the dry skin I experience from using acne products. Previously used expensive cream moisturizers that ended up causing clogged pores/bumps all over my forehead. Got this along with a retinol cream and have noticed a huge difference in just a few days. Moisturizer is thin consistency but it is very hydrating, not sticky or greasy, and melts into skin nicely. No break outs or irritation and works well on top of my retinol cream. I’m a facial product junkie and decided to try Vanicream to save some money and see if the hype was true. I’m not lying when I say this is the best light moisturizer I’ve ever used. Soaks right in, not greasy and layers great under makeup without pilling if you give it a few minutes to soak in. I have mature skin and it leaves it very moisturized. Surprisingly works very well on my sensitive dry skin type. It’s light texture and oil-free. No irritating fragrance. The downside is you will have to apply more than once or as needed to keep the face moisturized enough. It’s much cheaper than Curel intensive care face cream.
