These are good curtains but they block the light way too much. The description mentions from 100% to 50% light blocking and the ones I got at 70% (grey) they block the light 100%. I want *some* light blocking and *some* privacy, not make my living room look like the batcave. The seller should use a sunny day to take some pictures like no curtain, 100% curtain, 70% curtain and 50% light blocking curtain in all the colors they offer and not use the lazy photoshop. ... show more

I do a lot sewing and often buy curtains to go with the valances I make. Fabric is so expensive and to make anything like this would have cost me $20-$25 a yd. It would have taken 6 yd. of fabric to make these 2 panels. I used them in our master bathroom for the shower. I ordered the white.

This is a very nice fabric and nicely made. Ironing is required, but they are easy to iron. It's a bit of a stretch to describe these as room darkening, at least for the white color, but they will make the room darker as any curtain with a heavy fabric would. They actually allow a good bit of light into the room, which is OK for my purposes. If you want a reasonably priced curtain in a very nice fabric, this is an excellent choice. If you really want something to block out light, this is probably not the best choice. ... show more

I am very happy with these curtains. I wasn't looking for total black out. These curtains still allow light in. So if you are looking for complete darkness these are not for that. They are very nice curtains for the money. Weight is good.
