Listen, I'm a simple guy. I like my coffee strong, my steak medium-rare, and my bedroom dark. So when my wife decided it was time to replace our old, faded curtains, I had one main requirement: they gotta block out the sun. These Vangao Blue Blackout Floral Curtains seemed to fit the bill, and with a name like "Vangao," how could I go wrong? First off, the color is great. It's a nice, deep blue with a subtle floral pattern that's not too feminine. My wife likes the pattern, and I gotta admit, they add a touch of class to the bedroom without being too frilly. But let's get to the important part: do they block out the light? The answer is a resounding yes. These things are like a black hole for sunlight. I can sleep in till noon if I want to (not that I do, mind you, I'm a hardworking man!). They also seem to help keep the room cooler, which is a bonus during the summer months. Now, here's the thing I wasn't crazy about: the fabric is a bit stiff. They don't drape as nicely as some other curtains I've seen. It's not a huge deal, but it's noticeable. Also, the rod pocket and back tab options are a bit confusing. I ended up just using the rod pocket, which was simpler. Overall, I'm satisfied with these curtains. They do what they're supposed to do – block out the light and provide some privacy – and they look pretty good doing it. If you're looking for some serious blackout curtains that won't break the bank, these are worth considering.

The drapes are beautiful. They are however, quite heavy. Putting 2 on a rod will be too heavy for my rods. I bought the 63” length. Can’t imagine how heavy the longer drapes must be!
