This car cover fit the car and I like the idea of the straps. However, after 2 days, the strap popped off. The clip that holds the strap had a crack in it, but it's not durable. I removed the car cover to fix the straps and the car was wet, even though the car and cover were dry at the time of installation. Strong winds were in the area and after I made the alterations to the broken straps, surprisingly, the car cover stayed on and was able to withstand the winds. Overall, it covers the car and is a good buy, but it will eventually have to be replaced, hopefully not too soon though. ... show more

I didn’t take many photos with it, the most recent one was with the hurricane that was passing by. Told myself if it kept my car intact I’ll give it five stars and it did. Survived hurricane winds and the rain that came with it. My cars drains that keep water from entering the inside of my car get clogged often with moderate/heavy rain, so I bought this cover for that purpose of keeping water from entering my car and it was dry as ever so I was very pleased. I’ve used this about 10 times before the photo was taken and everything still looks good. Only downside is the middle strap, with the very very strong winds, unlatched so I had to put it together and tie a knot to keep it from parachuting away. Other than that I’m highly pleased , it looks super tight on my car just because of how bad the weather was. 🚘 ... show more

Definitely on the lower end of quality side. But it is indeed waterproof. It fades rather quick in the sun as expected. It does begin to get brittle fairly quickly and rip easily. It did hold up for about a year on a car that I do not frequently remove the cover from. But I could imagine if I was too frequently don and doff the cover that it would have ripped even sooner. But all in all a pretty good buy for the price. ... show more

9/10/22 Just up to a week ago this cover has been by far the best. Please keep in mind , I never left it on a vehicle outside during the winter. That is why there is no rating on weatherproof. Owning a Oldsmobile cutlass supreme convertible, finding a cover to fit was always a challenge. The MORNYRAY cover fit as though custom made for the vehicle. The three straps that are part of the cover have also been the best as far as placement. My rating on durability is also blank because it has just started to rip, and show signs of sun damage. I tried to look into warranty just for my own curiosity, but have not contacted the company as suggested by Amazon. For the price and the fit I totally recommend. Ordered a new one just now ... show more

im using this to store an old camaro that needs an engine swap and after a year of use the weather got to it and it ripped a single big time but when i tried to patch it everything would tear it in other spots so i think that may be the life of this product so small warning there but overall good

    • Seems waterproof, but applying it in wind is difficult.

I've only had this for about a month (used every day), but this seems waterproof - probably even MORE waterproof than others, but that does result in condensation getting trapped under it, so water does get underneath... and leaves some water spots. Some covers advertise as "breathable" to allow condensation to evaporate, but this one does not, so they are being honest. I've had water pool on top of the cover (over open & closed areas along the hood)... and sit for days until it evaporated or I drained it, so it clearly provides a barrier against water from above. The problem I have with it is that its single layer is so thin and light that even a light wind can make it sometimes impossible to apply (by 1 person). When there's no wind, it's nice and light and so easy to apply. But I applied it once during 9mph winds and it took time and was a pain. Once applied, the wind got up under it and battered it (though it took the battering like a champ; and, honestly, that wind swirling around underneath it likely helped avoid/evaporate any condensation ;) ), but I did splurge on some add'l straps (the green ones) to keep it down). But, today, with winds at 11mph occasionally gusting to 18mph, the cover almost took off on me! Luckily, I had a hold of it trying to fit one corner when the other end took off. I just bundled it back up, put it away, and applied my other, multi-layered, heavier cover (that I haven't used since I got this one)... with absolutely no problem in the wind. It's an inexpensive cover... not claiming to be a miracle product. If anything goes wrong, like if it starts to shred like some other reviews indicate, I'm sure I'll be back with an update. ;) ... show more

The cover was just resisted by the hurricane IAN here in Kissimmee FL. I thought the cover would rip apart but surprisingly is still intact. The only downside is regarding the waterproof. Even before the hurricane, I noticed my car wet under the cover.
