These bowls are so pretty! I love the bold colors. I have some dishes in solid yellow and in solid green already and these will coordinate well. They are very well made with a shiny, smooth finish and are a great sturdy weight. Not too heavy for your bowl of soup or food, but not thin and breakable feeling. I honestly cannot tell you how much I love the colors. They are fun and liven up the table. They make ordinary foods look like they belong in a magazine. I have only run them through the dishwasher twice (once when I first opened the box and another time after our first meal with them). They fit in the washer about as well as my other bowls. They do have deep sides (which I really like for bowls) so they might be a bit tricky in some dish racks or fit better on the top rack. They microwave just fine. I am using them for a microwaved snack now as I write this review. They don't get super hot while the food stays cold, they warm up as they should along with the food. I took it straight from the fridge to the microwave and this did not seem to cause any problems. It also says they are freezer safe. I have not put them in the freezer because I don't normally do that with dishes. I think I may buy another set of these to give to my daughter, so I would definitely buy them again and I recommend them to anyone who wants some color in their kitchen!

Update: I got in contact with the seller. They offered to replace the chipped bowls; they ended up sending an entire new set. I stopped running them through the dishwasher and haven't had any further chipping or issues - so these are great bowls if you're okay with hand-washing. So crazy. We have never had bowls chip like this before - half of them are chipped after only using for one week! They are beautiful, I wanted so badly to love them - but they're literally falling apart after only a couple of regular uses. We're not hard on stuff, we had our last set of bowls for 5+ years without any problems with chipping. Guess I should have listened to the reviews that said these chip super easy - I took a chance and definitely lost. Don't waste your money, I wish I hadn't.

I loved the set. I was looking for bowl set which can add colors to my existing crockery. This set is perfect. It is basically cereal bowl but can also be used as bowl. It is very sturdy, easy to clean. It is has good portion size for cereal bowl. Overall I would recommend it and it is good value for money.

I bought this since my parents needed new bowls for their new apartment. They wanted it to match their decor. I was originally going to get the rainbow but I ended up choosing the blue one and I’m so happy I did because my parents really like how they all match. The quality is good too. It’s really thick. I accidentally dropped it while washing them and they didn’t break. Super durable!

When I received the bowls, one had a slight firing defect (a tiny portion had no glaze on it). I wrote to vancasso through Amazon and got a very quick response. They sent me replacement bowl which I received within 4 days of my email. Excellent customer service!
