Last week I ordered the smaller cereal bowls. I liked them so much I decided to order the larger pasta bowls. Again they came well packaged. I was a little worried because the outer box Amazon placed them in was damaged some, but they were fine. They were a little smaller than I thought they would be, just like the cereal bowls, but they will work out okay, we used them last night for a pasta dish. They are so colorful and pretty! Update: The seller contacted me and offered to replace the chipped bowl. When they sent the replacement they ended up sending an entire new set, which was amazing. I really really love these bowls - I've stopped putting them in the dishwasher and haven't had any further issues. So, if you're okay with hand-washing, they're amazing. Well, I really wanted to believe all the reviews that said they chip easy would be wrong. I guess it's my fault for not listening - I took a chance, and here I am. Only one week in, and one of these is chipped, as well as three of the six regular size bowls (yeah, half of them, and we aren't hard on stuff). I pulled it out of the dishwasher like this (says dishwasher safe, but clearly they're not.). It wasn't even next to anything else! These are so beautiful and the perfect size and shape for meals - but sadly, we literally are going to have to throw them away after using them once or twice. I am so disappointed. Please listen to the reviewers - I should have. Don't waste your money like I did.

I received these bowls and upon inspection, 3 out of 6 bowls were damaged; one bowl chipped and scratched and 2 bowls scratched. I received replacement bowls and between the two boxes I managed to get 5 above average bowls. The 6th bowl is just "ok". I attempted to get another replacement to see if I could get 1 more above average bowl but the seller would not allow it. So I would have had to order and pay for another box. I am not willing to jump through the hoops. I'll accept what I have but I'm not as pleased with the bowls as I thought I would be. They are thinner than I expected. IMPORTANT UPDATE: PLEASE READ - The seller contacted me again directly and they bent over backwards to replace the damaged bowls. This seller is the most helpful seller I have ever dealt with. They have been extremely generous in resolving the issue of damaged bowls. Also with regard to the bowls not being as thick as I thought they would be. I dropped the bowl on top of another bowl while washing them and there was no damage to the bowl. So even though they are not as thick as I thought they would be, they are sturdy. The colors are vibrant and beautiful! Thank you to the seller for taking care of the problems. I highly recommend this seller and these gorgeous Vancasso dishes.
