Update: after my review, the company reached out and offered to send me another one in an attempt to "make things right". After receiving the replacement and using it during one of the coldest camping nights this season, I have to say it worked perfectly! This replacement held air the entire night! In fact, I had to let some air out because it was too firm from holding all its air! I love this mattress! Love the built-in/rechargeable air pump and love how fast it is to inflate. I needed something that wasn't a standard mattress pad while camping for my back. This starts off quite firm but by morning it's lost so much air I feel like I'm on a water bed (not quite on the floor yet). That being said. I still slept really well on it. It supports my lower bag and I wake up without lower back pain. I feel it's not supposed to deflate this much during the night. I may return it and see if a replacement is better and stays inflated. I'm currently laying on it at my campsite and have used it for 4 days so far. Each day, I need to reinflate it before bed. I weigh 230lbs and I don't see any obvious breaks in the seams. ... show more

    • Quick inflation and comfortable sleeping surface
I just received this on March 3rd in preparation for a season full of camping road trips starting at the end of April. I unpacked it last night and charged the battery for the recommended 4 hours (left it plugged in overnight.) I did a test inflation this morning and was thoroughly surprised and pleased. It inflated the mattress completely in 1:17 seconds. When I say it inflated it completely, I specifically mean that it was firm enough for me at 235 lbs to crawl onto it on my hands and knees and then lay on my side (because I’m a side sleeper) without ever feeling the floor surface through the mattress. I intend to use this in a tent on top of a camping cot and I am quite sure that it will serve well in that capacity. On a flat carpeted basement floor I didn’t collapse the mattress enough to feel the floor so I’m sure the camp cot surface will be ideal for some good sleep. The ONLY reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because I haven’t used it extensively yet and as a result, I can’t speak to the durability factor of the mattress. I’ll update the review at the end of the camp season to assess the durability of the product as well. ... show more

**Just got done camping so this is an accurate timely review.** The built in pump is a work of genius!! The mattress is rated to 400lbs and I believe it. I’m a 280+lb guy and it held me like a champ no matter which way I turned or sat. Not one leak or puff of air lost. Being a fluffy guy, you get used to things breaking, leaking, or bending under “pressure”, this did neither. Set up was a breeze. Literally unfolded the mattress, opened the pump latch, flicked the switch, and then turned it off at the desired level, too easy. The pump is easy to charge and it held that charge for the entire trip. Take down was just as easy. Pulled the pump out of its socket and held it in reverse to the outlet and it sucked that mattress flat. Fabric on the mattress is soft and comfortable to lay on even without sheets. All in all, a simple looking yet strong air mattress with a genius pump design. Highly recommend and would buy again. ... show more

    • Best Air Mattress I have ever purchased
This is the only air mattress that I have purchased that has not leaked and left me waking up on the floor. The air pump placement is genius. I fill the mattress about 80% then lay down to see if that is enough, if not I just flip the switch, add a little more until comfortable. I have used this in colder weather and I was surprised that it was still inflated(I did have a cot underneath it). I do see some people complaining about seams blowing out but I have yet to have any problems with the quality and am going to buy another. Hopefully it is just as good as my original! ... show more

We bought two of these and only one made it a while week. One busted on the seam in the middle of the night on the third night of use. It was treated well and not overinflated. I would use it at home multiple night before taking it on a trip.

    • Stays firm
This air mattress has an ingenious design - the air pump is contained within a pocket at the end of the mattress, in which it is connected for use. That makes the mattress a little bulkier when folded up, but means one less item to pack for a camping trip. Also, no need to fumble around connecting nozzles when setting up camp after dark. Just open the little hatch and push the "on" switch. The pump inflates the mattress quickly, but one caveat: it wouldn't work with a half-discharged battery in very cold (45*) weather. (A more fully charged one had no problem.) The pump is also easy to remove for charging, and to deflate using the conventional valve. Most important, the mattress, at least after two camping trips, retains full air pressure. It did not get soft overnight. My previous air mattresses, after a couple of years and many uses, did get quite soft overnight. I have yet to see how long this one will stay leak-proof. ... show more
