First of all, I measure this to hold 25oz, not 21. Way to underpromise and over deliver! Also, it's safe past 100°C, so boiling water is good to go. I've owned bottles of the same style by Kremier that I bought through Amazon nearly 4years now. They're awesome. But these are slightly bigger. I love the color. And they've improved the silicone strap for wrapping the bottle up — they've added bumo that helps it stay in position longer. The silicone often gets people's attention, and I don't understand how more people don't love these bottles. As long as they are dropped on the silicone, they are basically shatter proof. You can forget them in the freezer or or a frozen car and they won't explode, and you can pour steaming hot tea inside if you wish and won't diffuse any gross plastics into your drink. The bottle collapses when you're done, it's leak proof, and the air equalization pump is fun to play with. (Though if you accidentally press the pump in with your nose while holding it upside down over your face, whatever your drinking will flow through it instead of air lol) Great concept. Accident proof. Sports enhancing. Excellent, simple design. 5 stars. As a bonus: when the cap is flipped up, you can squeeze these bottles to launch a steam at someone as if it were a squirt gun. Had a very fun time ambushing a buddy with these as a makeshift watergun in yellowstone. Note to the designers: I'd like a version with a reinforced hinge for the plastic cover; in my experience that's where these bottles tend to break after a couple years of wear and tear. The bottle stays fine, of course. They just lose the ability to seal valve or spout from dirt, or from leaking when the bottle is squeezed hard enough. As I said, the bottle can still be used, but once that hinge breaks, it can't really be casually be thrown in a gym bag or onto the back seat after that as it might lak if something squeezes it or presses it wrong.

This was a great purchase. I originally bought it for my son who was going to France and England for his senior trip. He also used it in Disney and said it worked perfectly, no leaks or spillage. I was afraid that it may have had a smell to it when I first opened it, but nothing. I used it when going on a hike and it was easy to fill and rolled up nice when it was empty. I read some reviews that said it tipped over but I didn’t have that issue.

This water bottle really has a lot going for it. I like the lid that keeps the drinking spout clean. I love the button that lets in air so the bottle will stand upright. I like that it is lightweight and collapsible. Ice would melt in 2 hours or less so you have to be ok with room temp water. I guess you could fill it partially full and freeze it. I didn't try that. There was a learning curve to figuring out how to drink from it. It was the same principle as feeding a baby a bottle. If liquid is not completely covering the spout you will inhale air and can choke. What I didn't like was the taste. I read the Q&A and reviews - so I filled my bottle with baking soda and boiling water and let it sit for 24 hours. Then I ran it through the dishwasher as well. I didn't notice any problems with the taste during the day. I left it by the bed overnight and took a drink out of it the next morning and it tasted bad. I rinsed it out thoroughly and refilled with new water an ice. It still tasted bad as the water came to room temp. This was almost perfect. If only they could fix the taste issue...

We were looking for a bottle to carry water while running and I refuse to use plastic. So many of the hydration bladders advertise BPA free, like that is the only chemical in plastic that can harm you ?!?!?! Chances are if you are a runner / biker / weight lifter, you have a pretty clean life style and are not going to fall for that shady marketing. Silicone, stainless steel, or glass are your cleanest options but silicone is the lightest vessel to carry. We took this trail running last night and it worked great! The valve in it takes some getting used to as it kind of squirts water in your mouth, not pour as if you were drinking from a valveless vessel but it does make it spill proof. We were planning on a 2.8 mile trail run but took a wrong turn and it ended up being 3.5 miles and had plenty of water for two people. I recommend buying this and staying away from Chemical laden plastic. They put chemicals in everything so avoiding as many as you conscientiously can is always a great idea.

This is hard to drink from, not that much lighter than a normal water bottle, and doesn't roll up easily, but I used it for a few months anyway while going on long walks. Then I used it after it had sat on a shelf for a few months (clean and dry), and the interior material had apparently disintegrated, creating gross brown gunk in the water. Even after I washed it with a brush, there still seems to be scum on the inside. So now it's in the garbage.

Followed what some buyers/ reviewers did to avoid smelly / awful taste. Wash the item with soap and water. Use medium hot water, add juice from one lemons, let it stand for 10-15 mins. Throw the water away. Then add plain water with juice from one lemon again and let it stand overnight or at least 12 hours. Shake the jug with the water stil in it and rinse. Filled the jug with fresh water, water still taste lemony but good. No awful taste as some reviewers have mentioned. So far, it’s good taking it with me to work, then roll it with the band that came with it when empty. Will buy again in different color.
