The appearance of the fabric is as pictured. However, it was stiffer than I expected. I washed it and it was soften and I was then able to use it for my product. Make sure to finish the edges, it will fray.

I made a jacket, dress and pant. The first time that i wore the pants, the side seams opened. They had been both sewn and surged throughout. I am having to rebuild the dress and the pants by going back and lining the whole thing and treating the lining as a second layer of fabric. The color is beautiful and, so far, the jacket is holding up, but only probably because I interfaced the whole front and lined it with the brocade.
