These are great bags for storing seasonal clothes or blankets. They are great sturdy space saver bags. It came with a pump, however the vaccume hose works better and definitely quicker to suck the air out.

I used these bags to store pillows, blankets, a full size back rest. There are directions and I followed pictures too. I really got the hang of assembly and use by the second bag. One of the bags wouldn't vacuum seal. The pump works well but, you must pump quite a bit. A vacuum cleaner hose will not work. The directions say to re-check the bag seal every 3-4 months, I will not like that but, I don't know how other vacuum bags work. I decided to try them because the price was reasonable compared to others. Amazon delivered them very quickly. I would recommend them with the caveat about re-checking every 3 or 4 months and, having to pump 30-40 times. The parts in my package included: The folded bags, 4 zipper pulls to seal the opening, a hand pump, plastic caps to close the air port after pumping and a small plastic bag that holds all plastic parts. Overall, I'm glad I tried them and loved Amazon's quick delivery. My Amazon deliveries are exemplary, they deliver right to my front door! I can't walk with a great deal of help and I'd have to walk up and down a full set of steps. I thank them every time. ... show more

This was my first experience with a vacuum bag. I ordered the 8 pack of Jumbo. I was very unsure. They all worked. (I had seen some reviews that said they received a couple in the box that didn't work.) I did have two that "hissed" after I sucked out the air, but that's just because I didn't have them sealed all of the way. Also, one of them had a scratch that I wasn't sure if it was a hole or not, so I put a piece of tape over it just in case. I did not even attempt the hand pump. I used the vacuum. My first one came out a little "lumpy", then I realized that I could smooth them out by applying light pressure from the bottom up to help move the air out more "uniformly". They do suggest leaving 2-3 inches of space between the top of the items and the zipper. Ok. I probably still stuffed in more than expected/recommended and they closed fine. Seriously...all the extra bedding (a couple of twin comforters, a full/queen comforter, a couple of king size duvet covers, a queen size duvet cover), 4 pillows, about a million blankets of various sizes, two large trash bags worth of stuffed animals, the list goes on... My only regret is that I didn't also order the 20 bag/multi size at that time. Not instead of, but in combination with...so... I ended up ordering those after I used all of these. Now I'm gonna seal up some sheet sets and some more stuffed animals...and whatever else I can find! ... show more

8 bags for less than $20 - it's hard to beat the quantity for the price. The Jumbo bags hold a queen comforter comfortably. The bundle came with a pump which was mediocre, I ended up using a vacuum for suction. The bags compressed well, but the plastic is very thin and will rip relatively easily. After about three days air began to leak back in to a couple of them. If you are looking for a long-term storage solution, these probably won't hold their seal past 3 months without needing to be compressed again. That being said, they are great for moving (which is what I used them for)! Temporary compression for a large amount of towels/bedding/clothing, etc. Much better than stuffing everything into a giant tote, or paying $50 for a name-brand bag when I only need the compression to last for a week. ... show more

I needed lots of pillows, blankets, comforters and linens stored in an armoire and it all needed to fit. These are super resilient, the plastic is thick but transparent and the bags are so big but shrink down to a good size to fit just about any where. I have purchased these twice because I have been so impressed with them and they have brought such a solution to our over-cramped closets. The clips that come with them are sturdy and stay on the zipper track without any issues. The cap for the vacuum plug is easy to take on and place back on. I have tried cheap Dollar Tree storage vacuum bags and they can not even compare, and theirs are so small. I can place at least 3 queen sized comforters in one bag with still room for a small blanket. These are the perfect sized bags for storing blankets, pillows, clothing, etc, with a space saving solution. ... show more
