I purchased this to replace a major brand name 2 gallon wet/dry vacuum. There is nothing wrong with my old one, but moving into a new home I wanted so many things "new". After much research I decided on the Vacmaster. And, I am glad I did! 1st the assembly is a less than 5 minute job. It all fits together perfectly. The suction is so much stronger with the same size 2.5 hp motor. The vacuum looks a little like R2D2! The hose is much longer than my other one. The accessories are amazing. 7 total attachments. A cord much longer, no more switching outlets in bedrooms! I have dogs, and the swifter type mop was getting to be too much work. The process was getting to the point that I had to get the broom and dustpan to get the excess being pushed around. I ordered a wet/dry vacuum and a stick vacuum (it won't be here till tomorrow), because both have different uses but I had to try the Vacmaster since it came. Extraordinary! The amount of dog hair and our sand/dirt combination (SC coastal soil) was amazing. The best part, no broom and dustpan! I also use the wet/dry with the small brush attachment to brush my dogs, another big plus, it really gets more hair than my old one. I can't wait to use for the ceiling, but the home is not ready for that cleaning yet. I can only say if it picks up like the crevice tool behind furniture it's going to be a winner all the way around. The casters are a plus, my old one was carry only. This has both, handle and casters. Mobility is great. I am sure many question why I have so many vacuums. But a wet/dry is a necessity when it comes to emergencies and picking up things you don't want in your regular vacuums. I had never heard of Vacmaster before but I highly recommend it. It is so good I may keep my old small one so I don't use this to pick up the nasty! It does not have a roller brush but it has a large attachment that has a 90 degree turn built into the top along with both a brush side and a squeegee side. I used this attachment on an area rug that the dogs sleep on and it removed a great deal of the hair. So, in conclusion, a great little machine that is amazingly versatile at half the price of the name brands with the same attachments and size of the motor and capacity.

I recently purchased the aptly named Vacmaster beast and love it to death. Great for the garage and outside. I bought this little guy for smaller jobs around the house. It is a great performer given the comparatively low price. The only con the hose has a stiff, plastic feel . . but the good stuff outweighs the bad easy to assemble light and easy to carry adequate suction array of attachments inexpensive tolerable noise level Using optional bags has benefits of a longer filter life as well as waaay less fine dust. I wish I got something a little more powerful, but not because this vac isn't performing. More because I'm impressed with the quality of the Vacmaster and wonder how much better one of the higher HP units would be. Reason I got small/cheap was just for spot cleaning here and there. Also planning to do a little work on the floor and bathroom tiles for which a little shop vac to clean up the mess would be good. But I like this thing a lot. It's easy to use, easy to carry around, pretty powerful (for the price), and I started just using it to vacuum the whole place. The simplicity is both a pro and a con. I think it's why it works so well, but emptying it is a bit weird (have to tip over the whole bottom tub over the trash) and the cloth filter is not easy to clean (trying to reuse a few times, just reducing waste).

Got a new kitty-and all that it implies, my Wife struggles with my 5hp 16 gallon carpet stop cleaner so I researched the available small models including those here on Amazon. I settled (due to comments) on this model and am happy to report that this vacuum indeed, is the real deal. Easy to assemble with everything included. Lightweight, tightly constructed, very strong suction, usable hose and attachments, easy to empty and clean, does not tip over easily due to it's base and wheels. The exhaust is baffled but can be shunted for hose end blowing. It is not quiet-it is a shop vac that is more than capable of pulling water out of carpets. That is what is was designed for and this model meets the criteria. Would definitely endorse this product without hesitation. Buy with confidence.

I bought this specifically to vacuum out my car as I often transport my dogs in the back and hair gets everywhere in spite of the dog bed/cover I have installed. I put it together in about 5 minutes so assembly was easy. I used it today and it did a great job! The hose is long so I can vacuum the driver's side, passenger side and back seat without dragging the unit to each side of the car. Also, when vacuuming, the unit stayed in place and didn't topple over which was a plus. It's small but powerful. This one comes with several attachments and the brush was especially handy to use on the seats and in the trunk. I'm so glad I purchased this and it did just as good a job as the heavy hard-to-use self-vacs at the car washes. This was well worth the money in my opinion
