4910 Wen Drill Press - worked so far
I bought a few of these, and this was the only one that worked due to its OD size..so far for my 4910 Wen Drill press. It went in very easily with just a few pushes, and used a flat head screw driver to push in the remaining edges. Just remember, DO NOT remove the wire around the spring and it will install easily ... show more

it worked like a charm...
I used it to repair my small WEN benchtop drill press. It would have helped if the manufacturer had enclosed a small instruction sheet. I had clipped the wire holding the spring tight and that made in impossible to install in the drill. I had to buy a second one to complete the repair. You need to insert the spring into the drill, paying careful attention to the hook on the spring to engage the hook on the spring housing. A good substitute for a broken factory part.
I used this to repair a broken return on a drill press; this part appears to be at an equal or higher quality than the broken mechanism, alluding to at least another 10 years of service, if installed correctly.

Fixed my drill press perfectly!
