I wasn't sure what to expect from this optic, especially given the price point and number of features, but I have to admit, this is a pretty decent value. I wanted something I could use to help younger or inexperienced shooters get accustomed to using optics, and promote firearm safety. A lot of people are somewhat intimidated or afraid to learn to shoot, so I wanted to equip one platform with something that would offer them as many tools as possible to help build confidence...I also didn't want to break the bank with a high dollar scope on a mid priced rifle. I set up one of my Ruger 10-22's with this scope. Fortunately, I had a pic rail adapter so installation and zeroing was quick and easy. The optic itself is pretty clear, but I do notice there is some distortion if you're eye is not exactly in line with the aperture. Turns out, that helps with getting people in the right position to acquire their target. The magnification is limited in relation to other scopes, but this will mostly be used for targets within 100 feet or so. The reticle illumination is outstanding and very bright, and offers a variety of colors, which helps with lighting conditions and choice of target. Zeroing the laser to the scope was a breeze as well. Just a couple of turns of the supplied allen key, and you're done. I do suggest you start out with a laser bore sighting tool, then match the scopes laser to it, then align your crosshairs to the previous 2. Having all 3 aligned is an almost fool proof method to attain an accurate shot. Just always keep in mind the limitations of your rifle so you are not over-shooting your target. The scope is a basic scope with laser sight, it does have a green or red reticle that is dimmable. Fits right on any picatinny rail snugly and securely. The laser sight is a bonus and can be turned on seperate the lighted reticle. The only thing that i would change would be the bell size so it can gather more light at night and the eye reilef it can be a pain to see the whole site picture if you arr not lined up perfect ... show more

I am continually impressed at how improved the optics and these foreign made scopes are. The optics on this 40mm scope are really crisp and clean across the whole lens. Body is well built of aluminum alloy. the scope has windage and elevation adjustments. There is a choice if red or green reticles and you can adjust the brightness as well. There is an attached red laser that also has windage and elevation adjustments. It mounts easily to any 20mm picatinny or Weaver rail. Allen wrenches are included. I ran about 25 rounds through it on my AR. It performed well and held zero through the test. I saw it today with a 17% coupon available which makes it a very good value for the money. At the time of review this scope was listing at $59.99. It has a built in red/green illumination for the site which the red really doesn't work for me in daylight at any level, but the green is bright and vibrant in direct sunlight after setting 4+ which really helps contrast the crosshair on your target. The laser is also fairly bright and good out to about 50 yards in fair lighting. But don't try to use the lens covers with the laser. Even though you can look through and have the cover's filter the laser hits the cover and you lose over 80% of the dot. The sight has decent field of view and I had good visuals about 5-6 inches from my eye. For low powered air rifles and .17 and .22 rimfire this seems to be fine as is out of the box. It may do well with some carbines and replacing the mounting block and having a sturdier base may help it hold zero on a higher recoil platform. For the price it's decent so far in the summer. We'll see later how it does in colder weather but for now I like it at this point. ... show more

The UUQ 2.5-10x40ER Rifle Scope with the red/green illuminated mil-dot and red laser combo has genuinely impressed me. I got it for my airsoft rifle. The laser is incredibly bright, and when I look through the optic, the clarity is outstanding. It's a bit on the heavier side, but that's understandable, given the added laser component. This is a pretty decent scope especially for the price. I have it on an Ole. 22 so it's not getting much abuse but holding zero. Clear lense. Works good!

So I was looking for an budget friendly scope for my AR9 carbine build. Being a 9mm, it's not really going to be a long range sniper and this 2.5x10 is actually a bit overkill but this works great. The illuminate Reticle is wonderful, both Red & Green and the addition to the red laser on the side of the scope is great for a quick point of aim. The scope caps are a nice addition, they're tinted yellow for a bit of a sunshade and everything runs on that 2032 coin cell battery. The scope held zero on my 9mm recoil without a problem, and would recommend it for anyone searching for easy mount (Picatinny mount) scope that's short enough to mount further on the rail and has enough bells and whistles to make you smile. ... show more

I got this after reading some of the other reviews and am pleasantly surprised. I put this on my Ruger 10-22 for short range shooting. It was very easy to sight in at 50 yards. The green laser is more helpful to me than the red. Maybe in low light or after dark, but I don't shoot then anyway. This is a hefty little scope! It feels solid and all the components are tight and yet easy to maneuver. I am impressed with the accuracy too! I don't try to shoot more than 50 to 75 yards away, and this scope, with the different lighting brightness settings makes this a very versatile optic. ... show more
