  • First unit was a dud, but the vendor promptly replaced it with a good one. This combo scope is a real bargain.
Style: Green Laser
The first UUQ scope combo that I received was terrible. The laser tip was damaged and wouldn't hold it's position, and the scope itself was also bad, being unable to focus properly. While the box it came in was only slightly dented, and didn't show any signs of serious trauma, it was clearly defective. Upon posting my negative experience with the gear, the seller, James, promptly contacted me and sent me a replacement unit. This one was in good shape and had none of the defects of the first unit. If you order this and the unit comes defective, be assured the seller supports their product and will take care of you. Now, regarding the gear itself. First, you have to keep in mind that this combo unit is built very sturdy, but is very inexpensive. The phrase "you get what you pay for" is generally a reliable rule to live by. If you want a top-quality scope, laser, & red dot setup, your best bet is to select each of those items individually and pay for quality gear. That being said, if you are like me, and don't want to spend upwards of a thousand dollars on a setup like this, and don't have the time to do a lot of research on each of the three items, then this combo is for you. Pros: The green laser is very bright and easy to turn on and off. The Unit is sturdily built, and comes with the wrenches for making adjustments and the batteries necessary to operate the three electronic components (red dot, laser, & illuminated scope reticle) The scope reticle has variable color & intensity, so you can control that nicely. The red dot is removable and can be used on it's own if you want. The mount is sturdy and has hand-tightening screws so you can take it on and off your gun without tools. It comes with front & rear caps that are tied together with flexible bands, so they stay together. The power switch for the red dot is on the back of the red dot unit, so it won't likely be turned on accidentally in your bag. Cons: Having all of this gear mounted around the scope makes it a little difficult to reach the focus adjustment on the scope itself. That's not a big deal, except that the scope requires refocusing once you zoom past 8x and the focus ring is very stiff. Honestly, I will rarely be focused in that far with my AR15, 8x is about as far as I'll usually go. The optics on the scope itself aren't that great, but then again, if you consider that you're buying a combo unit, and if you deduct the value of the laser & red dot (which are probably worth about $30 each), and take into account the value of the wrenches, batteries, lens caps, mounting rail, & lens cleaning cloth, then you're getting the scope itself for barely $30. That's where the value of the unit really becomes apparent. This combo scope is a great concept, and a real bargain, if you're not looking for pro-line gear. For me, I wanted to get into an AR15 inexpensively. Combining this scope with the Ruger AR556 got me into a decent AR for about $700. The only thing I needed was a rail riser, which lifted this scope up enough to clear the front sight. I used the (UTG Med-profile Full Size Riser Mount, 0.83" High, 13 Slots) found here on Amazon. That rail was a bit too long and I had to remove the stock rear sight, which was no big deal. Something that's 8 slots log would have been better. Now that I have a working unit, I will take it to the range, tune the alignment of each unit, and see how it holds up to the roil of an AR. I'll post an update once I've done that. ... show more

  • Red Dot does not at all
Style: Green Laser
My scope /laser/red dot came in fast. The scope and Lazer seem to be in great condition and high quality. The re dDot on the other hand does not work at all. I even install new batteries still nothing. I want a replacement reddot. I don't want to spend the whole thing back I already have it mounted on my gun and ready to start using it. I think someone should send me a new red dot if not I will start buying from other options. I should get what I paid for. And I shouldn't have to be spending my time writing a bad review. And I shouldn't have to be purchasing items that do not work. These items should be tested before sold. With all this being said. I reached out to customer service and they got with me within just a few hours. They are supposed to be sending me a new Red Dot. I offered to send this back. They said I didn't have to. It isn't doing me any good since it doesn't work. I couldn't be happier with the customer service they are very polite and fast to respond. Hopefully when I get the new Red Dot in it works as it should. I will send an updated review once I receive it. So far on the scope and Lazer I could not ask for a better product especially for the price. Great product great customer service. ... show more

  • Great all in one combo scope for short range
Style: Green Laser
This combo scope is the perfect size for my Ruger PC at about 9” long x 4” high (including Picatinny mount). A lot of the scopes I’ve looked were 4-12 or 4-16 magnification which were a little high for my usage range (200 yards and under) and also a little long for my rifle (13 inches or so). Also, many of the scope/red dot combos that I saw were huge contraptions that were a bit much for me. This combo is a nice tight footprint. Pros: -Compact size and configuration -Nicely sized 40mm lens for more FOV -Red & Green reticles on the rifle scope -Green laser pointer instead of red -Most compact red dot sight I’ve seen -Very easy rifle and battery install Cons: -Red dot scope only has the dot reticle. It would’ve been awesome to have multiple reticles or at least a circle with dot option. -Rifle scope only has simple crosshairs. As you can see, I’m a sucker for reticle options. Where the cons are concerned, I think this combo is a fantastic value at the current price. I think they should put out a premium model with more options for anyone willing for go a few more bucks for the upgrade. ... show more

Received fast and seems to be made and of quality. Haven't had a chance to actually get out and test yet but from my initial reaction is say it's a quality piece especially for the price and I hope it performs as it appears but I'll update after trying it out in the field.

  • It’s a BRICK!!!
Style: Green Laser
I bought this ACOG Chinese knock-off because it was $1,600.00 less than an authentic ACOG sight. I need to learn my lesson and stop doing this!!!! 1. The glass is fair….if you polish the glass it really helps. 2. The unit feels like I’ve taped a brick to my weapon, it’s that heavy. 3. The BDC Rect. Is very hard to see cause the hash marks are so tiny. 4. Power adjustment dial was very tight!! I used a Q-tip and some LSI to swab around the dial and worked it till it freed up some…..Note tiny fingers only to make quick adjustments! 5. The remote Laser switch wire is very distracting but it works. All in all It just feels like 10 gallons of mud in a 5 gallon bucket. I’ll stop right here cause I could go on about this thing. Bottom line: it’s worth the low price and not something to send back or throw in the trash. It works fairly well after zeroing and if your bench or stick resting the weapon the weight is not a problem. I should give it a 4 star rating but I want to be honest about performance regardless of price. The price is great for this combo unit. You can’t expect a lot for the price. If your looking for a low price combo weapon sight, it’s fair to say this is good for the money and it works. Good luck! ... show more
