These towels are good quality and soft. The brown color looks elegant and classy, they're soft but not too heavy, which I love. No weird smell right out of the package, and they dry pretty quickly too. Definitely great value for the money, they feel, more expensive than they are!

no smell but of course I washed before use, didnt bleed color or shed alot just the normal amount.soft before and after I washed them , very absorbent and dries fast after use. they are not thin but are not heavy, great size and seem like they will last awhile.

We really wanted to love these towels. (We bought the giant size.) A number of years ago, we bought a set of these for our daughter, who was heading off to college. Right away, we loved them. They were thick and absorbent and held up nicely. Eventually, we stole one of them for ourselves and then, recently, decided to buy our own. They're just not the same, though. They're not quite as thick as they were but, more importantly, though they are incredibly soft and plush, they're that kind of plush that doesn't actually absorb water all that well, if you know what I mean. We were surprised how hard it was to actually dry off, after a shower, 'cause the towel primarily pushed the water around. Not sure why they changed the thickness/pile but, alas, the search will continue for that perfect towel . . . thought we had it here! (Now to steal the rest of our daughter's towels!) ... show more
