For the past couple years my girlfriend and I have gone through a few cheap comforters. We never really gave much thought to them and subsequently they never impressed us. I grew up using a down comforter and have very fond memories of that blanket. The comfort and warmth was something that I hadn't experienced since I had moved out and gotten my own comforter. So this has been in the back of my mind ever since but I wasn't sure if I wanted to dish out that kind of money for a blanket and also deal with the hassle of dry cleaning it. Also by purchasing a down blanket we'd be supporting an industry in which the down feathers from geese are taken from them and that's not something we personally wanted to support. So for all those reason we started looking into down alternative. The first thing that made me question these products was the price, they seem TOO cheap. I was raised with the mantra, "you get what you pay for" and with that in mind I was quite weary when looking at these products. I always make sure to compare many different products and read through the reviews, both good and bad before I buy something. I decided to take a chance on this particular one as it seemed to be the highest rated by customers and I liked what I saw in the images provided by said customer. If anything, the price was low enough that I wasn't too worried if I didn't end up liking it. Now I wasn't actually home when it arrived but my girlfriend confirmed that it was very flat right out of the package, as was expected. By the time I got home 2-3 hours later it appeared to be fully fluffed. The material it is made of is very soft and comfortable on your skin and I was pleasantly surprised with the thickness/fluffyness. It is a fairly light blanket, similar to a down blanket I suppose in that regard. So far I have only slept with it one night but it did a great job of keeping me warm. I live in Wisconsin and the temperatures this week have been ranging from -10 over night to single digits during the day. I had been using 2 blankets prior to getting this one and sometimes I would still wake up in the night feeling cold. But so far with this blanket alone I have stayed warm which again was a pleasant surprise. I do have to say that this doesn't remind me a whole lot of my down blanket and I think that may have to do with the material used in the shell. And you're not going to be 100% able to recreate a down blanket not using down. So if you are looking for something that feels exactly like down and won't be satisfied otherwise, this might not be for you. However, if you are looking for a good quality, warm, fluffy and affordable priced blanket that will give you that "cloud" like feeling, I think you would be really happy with this blanket. Again this is my opinion from using it for one night, I can not comment on the durability or longevity of this blanket, but I am hoping that it holds up over time. **also our cats immediately fell in love with it, it is their new favorite spot to nap.

The media could not be loaded. I recently purchased a premium comforter, and I can confidently say it’s one of the best investments I’ve made for my sleep. From the moment I unpacked it, I could tell it was high-quality. The fabric feels luxuriously soft against my skin, and the filling strikes the perfect balance between warmth and breathability. We've had it for a few weeks and it seems pretty good. My husband says it's warm (I haven't covered myself up with it yet as I am always hot) and it's definitely fluffy.. I do recommend laying it out for a couple hours then running it through the dryer on low to get it fluffy. Size seems to run true. The color (plum) is lovely, exactly the shade we wanted. So no complaints so far. In fact, got a queen sized one for my teenage son, he says "yeah, it's good" (translated out of teenager means he likes it a lot)

I purchased my last comforter in 2019 and it was a microfiber box-stitched type that had a particular heaviness that I appreciated. I’m autistic so I’ve always been super particular about blankets. I want it to be weighted but not too hot; and I need it to be something that is nice to touch because I spend a lot of time in bed (so fluffiness/softness matters a lot). My old comforter was $200 and I spent the last 5 years with it through everything. When the threading started to come undone, or I burnt a hole into it, I would sew them shut. But I started to notice it was getting uncomfortable and it was just time for a new comforter. I could’ve bought the same one for $200 but.. who wants to spend $200 on a freaking comforter?? Not me. So I searched for microfiber box-stitched comforters and eventually found this one here on Amazon even though it’s not the same. $35 isn’t bad for a king sized comforter. I had looked in stores for weeks and couldn’t find anything I liked but read the reviews on this one and even though they were kind of iffy, I made the purchase of a king-size navy blue comforter. First of all, yes, it does come very tightly vacuum sealed. It comes with instructions that say to shake it vigorously for 5 minutes to help retain its fluffiness. Again, nah, not me lol. HERES WHAT I RECOMMEND: I put it in the dryer without heat on tumble with 3 tennis balls (you could probably use less balls or just dryer balls for a smaller blanket) for 20 minutes with some dryer sheets. When I took it out, it had lost its chemical smell that many here mentioned and it was way fluffier. NOTE: It says NOT to put it in the dryer on the instructions, so if you do decide to do this, make sure you turn the heat on your dryer off. :) It might still have some wrinkles, but the blanket naturally got a little fluffier after a few hours and the wrinkles naturally went away. Anyway… pictures attached. We have a queen sleep number bed with a 4” mattress topper, so I knew the king comforter would fit better with our bed. We live in Louisiana and it’s currently the middle of summer but despite that, I am always cold and this comforter is amazing for staying comfortable - not too hot, not too cold. It’s not as soft as my $200 blanket but it is definitely a great replacement. I highly recommend it!
