There are hundreds of different glues out there and this company was so proud of their gaudy stickers that they made them a permanent part of the box. It is going to take me hours and hours to rub, peel, and coax them off of the box. This is a deal breaker for me and had I known this I would not have bought this box. Won't again, that's for sure

Goo be Gone won't cut it! You must heat up the stickers with HOT water in the sink then scrape the stickers off with a plastic scraper or plastic spoon. THEN after that you'll still have residue left, then apply Goo Be Gone and wipe off the glue portion...trust me this took a solid hour just removing the stickers but it was worth it, looks much cleaner now. I guess you could try a hair dryer also, I just didn't want to melt the box. Be careful not to scratch your box with the scraper, I did a little but not to bad, I can live with it. The box is very thoughtfully laid out and holds things perfectly and easy to get in and out of. Perfect for my household needs. BUT what kind of jerk uses crazy glue to put on tool box stickers!, I have no idea...guess they think they want them to stay on for advertising purposes, but's that's just stupid and makes people mad.

I was looking for a small-ish toolbox for my electrical kit for my boat, and this worked perfect. No metal means no rust, and it seems sturdy enough for this task. Very good storage for the size too, especially in upper tray. Previous box had little compartments in the top of the box that I didn't use, and those cut into the tray storage space. Liked this better because more height above tray so I could get my volt meter in there. And yes I did spend way too much time thinking about what kind of toolbox to get :-)

This tool box is junk. I put a few screws in the compartments in the lid.. I went to open the lid and the lid broke off. What a piece of junk.

Slow, careful removal of the product advertising sticker left more that 1/4 of the sticker behind. It took over 15 minutes with a sticker removal product (Goo Gone) and a plastic scraper to remove the residue. The surface that was under the sticker is no longer "shiny". Doesn't stop it from being a tool box, but it does show the manufacturer doesn't have much attention to detail or concern for the customer.

I love these small, durable tool boxes. I just don't like the latch? It doesn't snap on securely. You have to make sure it snaps on tight, not to dump all my paint brushes & other artists supplies. Or whatever you use it for?? I bought my daughter a 'tool box' for her crayons & turned it into her Art case. Much cheaper & stronger then those pricey colorful cases. Children learn to appreciate it. I use this type of tool box for many things. I love the top of the lid?! Has small compartments on top.. The only drawback is? It doesn't shut well. but I like it! So it could be that this box was messed up??

My review is based on the fact that I only paid $9.99 for this toolbox on Amazon, and not the ridiculous prices that are being charged for it now. Often, the best deals on Amazon are put on the website between 3:00 a.m. and 4:00 a.m. Now, the review. This was an amazing deal for the price. This tool box is "huge" and, while of a thinner, slightly lighter weight construction than another tool box that we own, the two (2) closures are much more secure than other tool boxes, and the box itself, can handle very heavy tools.
