These curtains are fantastic! I was so afraid to buy them after reading some of the negative reviews about them, but I bought them in both brown and pink, and they are very nice, all one length, and my bedroom is pitch black when I close the door. I think that they are a fantastic bargain!

Okay so they’re not 100% blackout, but they’re mostly there. They are very soft and thick but do let in a little bit of light. So I decided to just by buy 2 since I was going for pink which is a lighter color foreseeing it would be a problem. So I layered the pink on top the black and they block out everything. I still would have been satisfied with just one bc they do work pretty good in general but they are quite affordable anyway for 30 for two sets when others are selling the black lined colors for 40 on average. So I recommend going for 2 if you can afford it and your curtain pole can handle the weight. I think they will also help keep heat in/out since they’re thick especially with 2. I don’t know about blocking out much sound tho bc their curtains but who knows. ... show more

They do create plenty of darkness. The one thing I didn’t think about was sizing them much larger than the window so the sun doesn’t peak through the ends. So order larger than you think you need if you’re new to these. Make sure you’re curtain rod is closer to a foot above the window and you order them long enough to have extra feet of curtains on the sides and under the window ... show more

While these cutains block out much of the light, these curtains don't come close to being true blackout. On the other hand, I couldn't find better quality blackouts except for more than double of the cost. So...I just doubled down and used both panels included over the same section. That worked great.
