  • I was skeptical at first...
Style: Scope
I was skeptical at first but this thing has won me over. Bought this to put on a Ruger 10/22 takedown because its short length allowed me to still pack the rifle in a small space. After owning this over a year and putting 1000's of rounds through it, I have to say it is one of the best "bang for the buck" (no pun intended) 22 scopes I've ever used. I don't know if it would hold up to the stress of a rifle with any kind of recoil, but it has done great on my little ruger pack rifle. ... show more

  • Awesome
I put this on my DPMS Panther A15. 60 rounds so far and its still dead on. Kinda Heavy but well built. Very clear, and the illumination is pretty bright. 36 colors to choose from, with brightness settings. Wife loved the purple one! I Love the locking turrets and how you can reset the zero after its sighted in. Turrets actually click. Caps are nice and tight. Sun shade fits nicely and looks good. This scope took a 4 foot drop on carpet. No damage, still perfect. Also came with a lens rag. Instructions are easy to understand, and it included a range chart. Looks AWESOME on my AR. Its around 8 inches or so without the sun shade, and 10 inches or so with the sunshade. Eye relief is pretty comfy, but with the included rings you have to mount it a little forward to easily access the charging handle. Mounts are decent and the tightness is adjustable on them. Its perfect for what I will be using it for and that is Hogs, Home defense, and Fun. ... show more

  • It works if you play with it
Style: Scope
Seems pretty decent as far as construction and function go. Pretty decent clarity although you do have to play with the AO to get a clear picture above 4 power. It is not a true parallax adjustment, more like an extra focus knob. Not like my Simmons scope where AO is set to the target range and your focus knob is a set it and forget it deal. Had to mess around with the battery compartment to get the EZtap/IR to work properly. If I select 36 color mode i have to disconnect and reconnect battery to reset the basic R/G mode. Also had to mess with one of the rings to get it to function properly, but it works now. Overall everything does work. Can get a decent picture at all power levels if you play with the AO. Living turrets and reset zero are a nice touch. The turrets have a definitive click and it sighted easily with the black reticle and my laser boresight. Locking turrets give me confidence that zero will hold after recoil. ... show more

  • Nice lil scope.
Style: Scope
Bought this scope for my wifes muddygirl camo ar 15 flat top with hi front sight. Used a utg super slim 1" riser mount with the scope rings that came with scope and it cleared front sight for a perfect view. After zeroing and shooting 60 rounds the utg scope, rings, and riser all seem to be good and solid. After showing my wife how to adjust the scopes zoom, crosshair colors, and front parallax she got good clear focus over 50 yrds and over. She did the zeroing and shooting and was able to hit a 1" bulls eye at 50 yrds. She is very happy with the scope and is excited to set scope zero to 100 yrds and practice for next deer season. This Texas gal recommends this scope. Scope came with med. rings, flip up covers, sun shade, batteries, adjustment tools, and cleaning cloth. With back flip cover up it is a little hard to adjust crosshair colors but is not to bad. ... show more

  • Excellent scope for the money.
Style: Scope
I spent quite a bit of time researching scopes available in this price range or even close to this price range and this has turned out to be the best one. The optics are crystal clear with zero distortion at any magnification. I'm not really sold on the lighting yet, I seem to get a better sight picture with the light turned off using the black crosshairs. The included scope rings are actually quick dis-connect medium height and seem to be solid and well made. If you have a flat top AR and have the forged post front sight you will need a 1/2 inch riser or get the taller scope mounts. The only thing about the included accessories I'm not really impressed with are the pop up lens covers, they're ok but seem to be kind of flimsy and the front one included with mine is a little loose on the front of the scope. Compared to NcStar, Barska, and a couple of others in a similar price range this scope is magnitudes better in quality. I would say this scope is as good or better than my Nikon that I paid 2 times more for. ... show more
