This adapter is 100% one of the better-quality adapters I have gotten of this kind. Typically, when using something like this that actually has internals to help it function better rather than just plugging your firesticks USB's port directly into your TV, you typically run into a voltage problem to where not only does your firestick underperform but sometimes, you can also have other issues. That is where this product comes in handy and does very well. I love the form factor of this product. When it comes to size, it's probably 2 inches by 4 inches and maybe about 1/2 inch as far as thickness (by eye) and it plugs just like an OTG cable would and provides the proper voltage or "power source" to the TV USB port rather than just plug the factory fire sticks USB plug straight into the TV with no additional hardware. Add to repeat myself in doing so you typically will have less of a nice experience as well as experience some problems as far as glitches or the firestick even powering down as the TV does not put out the required voltage with these newer products, so this is a valuable addition. As much as I appreciate this product, and it has performed great with the newest model firestick which is the 4K Max second generation. I would like to see the form of a factor shrink up just a little bit as it does still hang off the back of the TV not enough to where it's an issue, but it would be nice to see a smaller form factor. However, then again it is a proper power source for these demanding newer devices as I said, being that they have more powerful CPU's and GPUS than the original products from 2016 and prior. All said and done, this is pretty much a universal plug and play (UPnP) product that performs well, and I believe is a definite no brainer if you are going to power a firestick from your TV especially when you can actually cause damage to your tv, or your fire stick itself when not using it properly. Neither is cheap to repair or replace. I'm going to rate this product 4 stars because it does a great job at exactly what it's supposed to do. I would like to see the smaller form factor but as of right now between the surge protection that it provides, and it's set up for 2.1 HDMI along with it being a proper power source via its voltage rating, this is a great product to have if you're going to want the minimalistic approach. I would recommend this product.

I recently got this USB power cable for my Fire TV Stick 4K Max, and it's been a game-changer for my old smart TV setup. I was tired of running a long, unsightly power cable from a separate outlet up the wall to power my Fire Stick. This little cable solved that problem completely! I was able to plug it directly into the USB port on my TV, eliminating the need for the AC adapter and the long power cable. Now, my setup is much cleaner and more organized, and I've freed up a valuable power outlet. The cable is well-made, and my Fire Stick works perfectly with it. No power issues or glitches whatsoever. If you're looking for a simple and effective way to clean up your Fire TV Stick setup, especially if you're using an older TV with a USB port, I highly recommend this cable!

I have a Fire Stick for two uses: I travel a lot for work, and on longer stays, it's nice to watch my streaming services without fear of credentials being left on the TV/stolen/etc, and our house has several Roku TV's, who are a bit more restrictive in what apps can be installed. I was fine using the traditional power adapter, but saw this and it's exactly what I wanted. I have a pouch in my backpack this all fits nicely in, and taking it from TV to TV is now very simple and easy. If you can reach the HDMI on a TV, the USB is usually close by, and I'm up and running in moments. The instructions say to plug in the stick first, then the USB; I have done it accidentally in reverse and had no issues, but will still do a better job of paying attention just in case.

Works perfectly and as intended! Having this avoids me having to run another power cord from the TV to an outlet, which I hate! You just plug the USB A style plug into a USB port on the back of your TV (which most TVs have). It then gives the Firestick the power it needs without the need to plug it into the wall. I love using Firestick, so this is a great accessory for them. Well priced and worth getting!
