I game heavily on my Steam Deck and also use a Lenovo Legion Go. Both devices drain battery fast, and I hate playing with Bluetooth earbuds due to lag. This 2-in-1 adapter lets me use my wired HyperX Cloud II headset while keeping my handheld topped up. The charging speed is phenomenal. I monitored the power draw using a USB-C meter while playing Elden Ring on the Steam Deck. The adapter consistently delivered 44.7W (the Deck’s max) with zero drops, even when audio was blasting at max volume. No throttling after two hours of continuous gameplay. On my Galaxy S25 Ultra, playing Genshin Impact, it held 38W (phone’s negotiated rate) and charged from 20% to 70% in 25 minutes while audio played. The adapter supports PPS, so it works with Samsung’s Super Fast Charging 2.0. I’ve also used it with a MacBook Pro 16” – it passed through 58W while driving a pair of 250 ohm headphones. This product does not work as advertised for me. It will charge OR use it for headphones but not both. If I have it plugged into a charger and my headphones the headphones and charging will constantly disconnect and reconnect about every 15 seconds making the item useless for it's intended purpose. I would not recommend this product to my worst enemy. ... show more

plastic, and the strain relief points are generous. I’ve accidentally yanked it out of my MacBook Air by tripping over the headphone cord – the adapter stayed intact, and the USB-C plug didn’t bend. I’ve also wrapped it tightly around a portable charger dozens of times, and there’s no internal damage. For around $10, the build quality is closer to what you’d expect from a $20 brand-name accessory. But value goes beyond just not breaking.     • Good product for specific use
I recently purchased a car that does not have USB support, but has an AUX connector and a cigarette lighter-type connection for power. Also, my phone does not have a headphone jack. Mike conundrum was that I had two outbound connections and only one inbound connection to my phone. This product solved my problem immediately. I was able to plug the two usb-c connections into the two inputs of this connector and then connect the single usb-c output connector to my phone, giving me the ability to both charge my phone and listen to music apps in my car.
