  • Works with Port Replicators if needed.
Size: KVM Switch 3 computers 3 monitor
Really Happy with this purchase - and I have a crazy setup. I have 3 Dell monitors, and have 2 laptops and 1 PC. I wanted access to all 3 monitors, and all 3 computers via a KVM Switch. I ended up having to invest in 2 of these Dell Port Replicators (D6000) because my two laptops don't have 3 video ports. So by using the port replicators, I was able to give each laptop 3 video ports via the USB-C port. I then plugged the video outputs from the Port Replicators into this KVM. It works really well for the monitors - and all 3 computers can use the 3 monitors well. The only issue I had was that my wireless keyboard and mouse had a weird lag when using the KVM. I saw a couple other folks refer to this, and said they used wired Keyboard and mouse. So I switched to wired for keyboard/mouse - and all works well again. I have a Logitech Brio camera and it works fine with all three going thru the KVM! Finally is my headset. I get some wonkiness on occasion - however, I suspect that going thru the Dell Port Replicators (thru the KVM) - is not perfect. So I have to move the USB Plug between the 2 laptops when I switch. So not 100% ideal - but 90% of the functions work, and it makes my life MUCH easier. I'd like to see a KVM Switch that can also act as a port replicator to some extent - where you could have the option of either the USB-C Port, or the 3 monitors. However - I suspect the cost would go way up - so for this - I am happy about the cost / value! The remote control does work well, and I stuck it (there's a sticker on the bottom) right by my fingertips - so it is nice to have it close by - works very well. As for durability - I'll say this unit is tough. I have all ports used. and the cables are all hanging down behind my desk (pulling on the ports in the back) - and it has done well. I did purchase some heavy-duty Velcro stickers and used it to stick the unit to my desk, so I have access to the front plugs easily in case I need to move something around (Very rarely). Otherwise - happy with the unit, been using it for some time now. I would purchase again - and recommend this. Note that my setup is a bit wonky - not an average setup - and it works well! ... show more

  • Good product for extending USB 3.0 connections.
Size: USB 3.0 Switch 4 computers
Has worked great for me. Granted I only needed to extend one usb 3.0 cable a little further. But it worked for my niche use case none of the less. No issues what so ever, my capture card signal reaches my computer with little disruption despite being physically probably 10 feet away from my computer. Overall it was easy to install, has been reliable and has lasted me several months. ... show more

  • Good price, short cables
Size: USB 3.0 Switch 4 computers
So far this product works great. The selection controller is nice and makes changing devices simple. Linux and windows both detect a function properly without lag or disconnecting constantly like others. One issue, the usb cables are only 3ft long and do not reach my multiple units. Had to purchase 6ft cables some didn't work, others only detected at 2.0 usb speeds. Took one star off for cables. ... show more

Trying to minimize the number of devices used across 3 CPUs. Worked with a mouse for a ferw minutes. After that, would not work with any device, even if only a keyboard or a mouse were connected and attempted to be shared! RETURNED!!!!!!

  • Works well for a bit, but fails quickly.
Size: KVM Switch 3 computers 3 monitor
Overall, the product is a great idea. It worked well for a while, but the product has quite a few issues. Firstly, when you switch to a surface tablet it requires the cables to be unplugged and plugged back in. Secondly, after 3 months of use, when using the primary computer, it glitches out and the connectivity flickers and if a key on my keyboard is pushed when it flickers, it repeats the output until I reset the connection. Overall, it's a great idea, but the implementation leaves a lot to be desired. ... show more

  • Works well if you can work around it's problems and imitations
Size: KVM Switch 3 computers 3 monitor
This device works as it should after you work around it's problems and limitations. It works in a 3x 4k monitor setup with both my Windows 11 desktop and 2023 Macbook Pro. The extremely annoying issues and failures of this device are the following for me. 1. Unable to access computer BIOS. This device wakes op or registers to late in the bootup sequence. The display does not wakeup to show the BIOS boot screen and the Keyboard and Mouse do not function during the boot process. Obvious work around is to bypass and rewire your components so the KVM is no longer in use. Quite a pain when you have 15 cables connected to the device. 2. Issues with MacBook Pro waking or startup that do not start or recognize the monitors correctly. This requires you to disconnect and reconnect your MacBook cables after the computer has completed wakeup or startup. ... show more

  • Better value than those KVMs at $35.
Size: KVM Switch 4 computers 1 monitor
I had previously bought, and returned, a cheaper (~$35) KVM which stopped working after two weeks. That cheaper one was so light that it wouldn't stay where I put it. This one is leagues better. It has some weight, so it stays in place on my desk. I've only had it a couple of months, but so far, it has worked flawlessly. It has EDID simulation, so my computers don't freak out, and it feels high quality to the touch. It uses standard cables too, not those combination HDMI+USB cables that cause problems. At double the price of my previous one, it feels four times a better product. Soon after I bought it, I needed another one to only switch video on some other computers (I didn't need USB, which is what failed on the cheap one), so which one did I buy? This one again! ... show more
