Bought this for my system. It worked for a couple of months. I asked for a replacement item (they initially want me to pay for another item). They eventually sent a replacement. This one did not work out of the box. They asked me to return the latest one but did not provide a code so I could return it. I have sent 30 emails asking for a replacement and they have not responded at all.

I have only had this for a few hours, but it works great for both my System 76 Bonobo Extreme Ubuntu Linux laptop and my work Windows laptop. It only takes 3 seconds to switch either way. I have read that it takes about 10 seconds to switch to the Windows boxes, but that is not my experience. It takes the same 3 seconds switching in either direction. Excellent product for the price. Video quality looks to be the same on my Samsung Curve monitor. I highly recommend this for those who have a work computer at home and limited desk space or want to get off of your laptop onto a larger monitor and keyboard.

Horrible do not get!! Sleeps half the time have to plug out and plug in... faulty even messed up my monitor got my money back but lost a monitor.

This thing works perfect, when it works, and it works MOST of the time. Sometimes it becomes unresponsive. Either it wont switch between computers, or worse, they keyboard and mouse wont work at all. To resolve this, I simply have to unplug both USB plugs and plug them back in. Sometimes it does this once a day, but lately it's been a few weeks since I've had to do it. Pretty random. Pros: works. I like the ctl+ctl+1/2 to switch computers. Works in linux and windows. Cons: You have to unplug it once in awhile to reset it, so it has to stay accessible on your desk. When switching between computers it acts as if you have unplugged the HDMI cable, so my laptop with 2 more screens connected to it always has to reset it's displays. This could be useful in some situations, but I wish it emulated the connected monitor on the computer not in use.

Nice little switch. If they color coded the cables and ports it would be a lot less confusing with all the jumble of cables going out of it. Six in total and if you cross any of them nothing will work.

Works awesome and exactly as I need it to for my MacBook Air and Lenovo laptop to share a monitor, wireless keyboard, and wireless mouse without having to change cords and moving the dongle all of the time. Hubby said it wouldn’t work but I proved him wrong. 😈 (if you can’t get your keyboard or mouse to work, turn them both off first before you put the dongle in and then turn them on after it’s in. It didn’t matter which spot I put it in, they just had to be off first).
