I got a generic case with my camera package, and even though it is larger than the USA Gear bag, couldn't make it work well, mainly because there were not enough of the movable partitions, and there were fewer accessory pouches. This bag holds everything I have with room left over for another lens (and I have two plus a large flash) and is more compact and easy to carry. Zippers are excellent quality as is the rest of the bag, and the gray color has a nice appearance. I had thought the red reinforcing cord at the carry handle would be solid, but it is elastic. Nonetheless, the carry handle is strong enough to support whatever you can stuff in the bag. It is comfortable when worn as a backpack, plenty of padding so things don't jab you, and the gear inside is well protected against rough use, and could survive a drop from several feet without damage. There are two strong bands above the side pouches that you can use to carry a compact tripod by slipping the elevation adjusting handle through; I'd like to have seen a couple of adjustable straps for this purpose, but what's there works well. I'd happily recommend this bag to any camera buff.

I have been looking for a smaller camera backpack for awhile. I wanted one that could hold my camera with one lense attatched and then a larger lense as well. I didn't want to get an over the shoulder or sling type bag. I specifically wanted a backpack because it feels more secure with the two straps because I would be taking this bag on bike rides and hikes. This backpack was the perfect size for what it needed. It fit my camera neccessities and had a bit of room left over for other items. So far it seems durable, and it has handled biking and hiking well.

If this small bag had a rear pocket for a tablet (9-inch or less) it would be perfect for my needs. But even less than perfect, it is a worthy replacement for a similarly sized bag that is on its last legs after many, many years of wear and tear. Please note, this is a small bag. A full-sized DSLR kit will not fit, even a prosumer APSC DSLR system might prove challenging. I am using it for a mirrorless system, one body, a mix of prime and zoom lenses, plus the usual sundries (filters, batteries, lens cleaning kit, etc.) for a day's shooting in the desert or on the streets. Although it is not ideal, my mini tablet fits comfortably zipped inside and atop the camera compartment. The side pockets are useful for cables, lens cloths, face-masks, but are not sufficiently deep for the typical cell phone. Plan on storing a cell inside one or the other of the front storage pockets. There is no room for a water bottle, and no straps for a tripod. The bag would easily fit under the forward seat on an airplane. I like it for the same reason I liked my previous bag, when out and about in the city, dragging it into a restaurant does not prove a problem. It is easy to "tuck away." Edited to add: This bag is more or less half-sized in length, and thus not the best for hiking. That said, it's ideal for moving through train and bus stations, riding mass transit, etc.

I bought this bag in Grey for my camera equipment and I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!! About a month later I was looking for the perfect travel accessory bag ( going on an 8 day cruise) and it dawned on me that this could be the perfect bag for bath and Beauty essentials. I ordered it in red and I now have the perfect customizable travel accessory bag for all the girly stuff my daughters and I will need. See my photo above - There is a Conair mini pro blow dryer and a full size Chi Ari flat iron in there - 3 shampoos ( purple lids) 3 conditioners (pink lids) Travel size hairspray, conditioning spray, styling potion, silk drops, protective heat spray for hair styling, face wash, face toner, moisturizer, bath puff, deodorant, shaving gel, razor, mouthwash, eye drops, toothbrush, toothpaste, body wash, mascara, and a full size deep conditioning treatment for hair. I haven't event touched the outside pockets yet. I also tossed in 2 or 3 sample product packets. I wanted a travel bag that would offer good padding around my blow dryer and heat styling tools and this is it! We all know how our luggage gets tossed around and beaten up when traveling by air. I will of course tape all lids and caps with a sturdy tape to prevent accidental opening and leakage en-route. I was just so pleased with myself for realizing how wonderful this bag is for all our girly needs in addition to being a fabulous camera bag.

As a retired, old guy and part time pro photographer, I gave up my large and heavy DSLR. But ever since I downsized to a Fuji mirrorless system last year I’ve had trouble finding an appropriate bag for travel. I wanted a backpack style that was small enough to qualify as my under seat “personal bag” for air travel, was light and easy to carry, yet still would hold enough equipment for handling various photo opportunities. I finally found it! This bag looks small on the outside, yet holds an amazing amount. On a recent trip to Eastern Europe It carried two Fuji bodies (an X-T2 and an X-T20) and six lenses—27mm, 35mm f2, 50mm f2, 16-50mm, 50-230mm, and 10-24mm! I couldn’t believe it myself so I included a picture. I still had room for batteries and other small accessories. This bag is very well constructed with heavy duty materials, robust padding and good stiching. It carries comfortably on your back despite its small size. It looks cool, too. It’s a great buy and I highly recommend it.

I love this bag. I ordered it for my zfc. It’s small but it holds a lot. It’s very sturdy and well made. The bottom is solid and the inserts are very durable and not flimsy like most bags under 100. Lots of pockets too. I might just another color.
