I was looking for a simple solution to protect my Canon RP with my 24-105 lens attached (with lens hood reversed). I have a larger case for my equipment that also holds my 100-400 lens and everything just barely fits in my Osprey backpack. I didn’t want to struggle with this arrangement on an upcoming trip when I don’t plan to take my 100-400 lens. I measured my camera and looked at the dimensions of the case before my purchase and everything was as advertised. The camera and lens (w/ hood) fit perfectly. The exterior of the case has textured padding, which I believe adds to the grip of the case w/ camera. The small pocket on the flap will hold spare SD cards, but I’m fairly certain it will not hold a spare battery (which is just fine with me). I can easily slip the camera and my new protective case in and out of my backpack now and I am very pleased with it. ... show more

It gives basic protection when traveling and put in my purse bag on airplane. It also works around my neck using camera strap. Is low profile and not expected to belt latch camera weight as I just wanted a basic protection coverage

The quality of the product is excellent. My Canon R100 and my R8 will fit inside, BUT if you have anything but the basic zoom lens that people often buy, these cases are too small. Width is OK, height is a bit tight, but depth is the real problem. Making the dimensions a 1/2 inch taller and the depth--where the lens goes--not only longer (add 3 inches) but an inch wider would make this a much better product for how people actually use their cameras. I repurposed these to the two 35mm film cameras I still shoot with and am very pleased. ... show more

The case is fashionable and serves its purpose. Safely stores and protects your camera. I have a Canon rebel t7 and it fit perfect. It fits snug but not too tight. That was a concern I had after reading a review. I can fit the camera perfectly with the 18-55 mm lens attached. Delivered quickly. This is nicely made case and the zippered pocket for an extra battery, lens cloth, or memory card is a plus. However, the case is too short and snug to hold anything but smaller lenses. It cannot be closed when my Nikon DX VR 16-80, 18-200, or 18-300mm lenses are installed and these are all relatively short lenses measuring about 4" in length. Having a slim or regular UV and/or Circular polarizer in place will only add to the problem. Because of this, I can't recommend this case for anyone that uses anything other than a lens no longer than 3 1/2" with filters in place. ... show more
