Used for solar eclipse, Did not disappoint

I wanted to take photos of the recent solar eclipse. After researching the type of filter needed, I concluded this filter would work well. I was very happy that it was delivered on time. Update - slight color cast

After doing some more testing, I have to say there is a slight color cast. I only shoot in RAW, so all of my photos are processed in post. The color cast is easily corrected, even with just auto adjust. You will have to decide what this means for you.

Excellent filter, super value.

I ran some controlled tests. I did not detect any color shifts nor degradation of sharpness, Very good value compared to other high priced filters easily costing 2 to 3x more. I do wish it had a brass filter holder although it would appears from specs that it is stronger than straight aluminum.

Feels great - heavy metal and glass. Very dark, produced some silky and sharp images of a running fountain on my fujinon 16mm lens. Comes in a nice metal case.
