Description

Define thread count and its relevance in the context of buying bed sheets. Thread count is the number of threads per square inch in fabric. Higher counts indicate finer yarns and a smoother surface, offering luxurious comfort. What sets percale and sateen sheets apart from each other in terms of their properties and feel? Percale sheets are woven with a simple, one-thread-under, one-thread-over pattern, providing a cool, crisp, and matte feel. Whereas Sateen sheets use a three-thread-over, one-thread-under weave, creating a a luxurious, silky, shiny and surface. Are these sheets a suitable choice for hot sleepers and for year-round use, including all seasons? Our 100% cotton sheets are perfect for year-round use, especially for hot sleepers. Cotton's natural softness and breathability work to maintain your body temperature while sleeping, ensuring a cool and comfortable night's sleep. How can I ensure that these bed sheets remain in good condition for a longer period? To ensure your bed sheets last longer, wash them with a gentle detergent in cold or warm water, avoid hot water, and tumble dry on a low setting or air dry. Could you please provide information about the return policy in case I am not satisfied with these sheets? You can buy these sheets with confidence because they are covered by Amazon's return window, which allows returns even if you've already washed or used them.

    • Really nice sheets for the price
I had been looking for quality, all-cotton sheets in a true navy for about 2 years to coordinate with a navy upholstered headboard. After ordering/purchasing at least a dozen sets from Amazon and brick-and-mortar stores, then returning because the color was off, they were too scratchy or were not actually 100% cotton, I have found a winner. The color is the perfect, deeply saturated navy blue, the sheets are soft with just a hint of a satiny texture, and they wash up beautifully. I also line that they fit tightly to my pillow top Queen mattress-- no bunching or runching after a night's sleep. One small critique -- they do wrinkle a but, even right out of the warm dryer. I am going to experiment with my dryer settings.to see if maybe medium heat is a bit too hot for these sheets. Otherwise, they are absolutely perfect and exactly what I was looking for all these months. ... show more

    • Excellent!
Color: 02: Blush Size: Twin
These are the very best sheets I've purchased in decades! Highly recommend Urbanhut; a brand I will not forget. The tight weave of the fabric and the stitching all around the flat sheet, pillow case, and in particular around the fitted bottom sheet. The elastic is strong as ever! They've been washed and dried many times and they still look and function as if they are brand new - and that includes the color. Beautiful! ... show more

    • Amazing Overall Quality Out of the Packaging
Color: 01: White Size: Queen
I just received these sheets (and pillow cases) so I can't say how well they will wear over time. So my review is just based on the quality out of the packaging. I am picky about sheets. I have purchased so many sets and been disappointed. I recall the sheets I had as a child: thick, strong, durable and heavy. I believe they could have lasted so long that I could have passed them down to the next generation. I had no idea that decades later, I'd find it impossible to find that same quality for purchase. These sheets from Urbanhut are NOT the same quality. People nowadays want "softness" . . . that is to say, the "hand" must feel silky. That is not what I care about. I care about thickness and durability. I HATE thin sheets that feel like they'll tear, no matter how "silky" they feel. Urbanhut seems to have found the middle ground between thick and silky. These sheets are heavier than most sets, very substantial. The sewing is also fine. I think these will last and satisfy me. And they are "soft" without being thin. I'll update this review after I use them for a month or two. But I do think I've found the holy grail of sheet sets. They are also reasonably priced so I can buy them in various colors. Fingers crossed. ... show more

    • Would not buy again because of the size
This is the description above: This Urban Hut set Includes: 1 Flat Sheet 90"x102" (inch) ~ 1 Fitted Sheet 60"x80" (inch) with Extra Deep Pockets Measuring 15" depth ~ 2 Pillow Cases 20"x30" I washed these sheets right out of the box, cold water, permanent press dryer setting as per instructions and how I wash all my sheets with no problems. I have a queen size bed with 9-inch sides. The fitted sheet barely fit in the corners and I had a hard time getting the sheet on the mattress. But that was ok. The flat sheet did not seem wide enough, so I measured it and it measures 85”x99”. I did not put the sheets on my bed before washing them, so I do not know if they shrank. The pillow cases after washing measure 18”x29” and fit very tight on the pillows, pushing some of the pillow out the end. The material seems to be a very nice medium weight. The texture is a little soft and it is comfortable. They seem to be made well with a soft stitch. I have washed them twice and they come out of the dryer with very little wrinkle and still look nice. I would not buy them again because of the size of the flat sheet and pillow cases. With two people in the bed, I find it hard to have enough cover on the sides of the bed. ... show more

    • Very disappointed
I was honestly disappointed with these sheets. At first glance, they look nice, but even after a couple of months of washing, they are quite rough feeling to the touch. They are not very thick material and I was very disappointed with the size fit. I ordered the queen size that was appropriate for the mattress I have, but the flat sheet is just barely long enough to tuck in at the end. Literally about a foot and a half shorter than the last brand I had. I was expecting a much better quality for the price point. I would not recommend these or buy them again myself ... show more
