I gifted this to my cousin and he really liked it and put it in his room. It smells like a nice blend of musky and slightly smokey vanilla bean and other nice smells that I can't quite identify but blend very well together. Can be unisex but does lean a bit masculine I would say.

No one has mentioned in their reviews on how to open the bottle so I will let you know: it is corked very tightly. You have to rotate it like opening up a wine bottle almost and be careful to do this on a flat surface as you do not spill any of the liquid out as it is corked very tightly. It takes about a minute to open. You would expect to just open it but it is corked and it comes out slowly. Which is great to prevent spillage as well as for the liquid to not evaporate or spoil. It comes with several reeds as pictured. The scent is a true smokey vanilla not a cakey sweet vanilla but more of a smokey musky vanilla. The bottle is black and it is quite a nice large size. I would expect this diffuser to last quite a while.

This diffuser smells so good. The smell isnt too overwhelming. I had this diffuser in the kitchen and the smell traveled all over my house. This diffuser is sleek in design and again the smell is wonderful.

A lovely diffuser with a nice gentle scent that fits in the bedroom perfectly. I do like the scent of the oil included with the set. The bottle is heavy enough to stay in place in spite of our cats trying to rearrange the top of the dresser. It is also stable -- nicely tip resistant. It is easy to vary the amount of scent in the room by adding or removing the reeds. My wife is very happy with this little gift.

I really like the smell of this diffuser. It has a hint of vanilla but with the sandalwood and leather it doesn't smell like a cookie which is usually the case with vanilla scented products. This one has almost a woodsy scent and as I said, with a hint of vanilla. Nice black bottle and sticks make it match our bathroom.

Revised: after living with this scent for a couple of days, I had to throw it away. I'm not sure what it was but every time I inhaled it, it made me want to be sick. The glass bottle is really well made. The glass is thick and the bottle has some weight to it. The vanilla smells very earthy. It's similar to something you may smell in a spa. I would have ranked it higher but it doesn't seem that the scent varies much outside of the very immediate vicinity of the bottle so that's disappointing.
