  • Late 2020 Apple MacBook Pro M1 13inch UAG/INCASE review
Size: MacBook Pro 13" (2020) Color: Clear Ice
Apple MacBook Pro 13 m1 INCASE VS UAG Got the UAG case along with the INCASE hard shell case and INCASE woolenex hard shell case. The UAG case out beats them both in my opinion. INCASE hard shell case has a cheaper plastic feel and seems like it may crack in The future from regular use. The case is easy to clean and take on and off though. INCASE woolenex hard shell case feels nice with the fabric on the outside with a better plastic for protection. I however felt like the fabric picks up dust and would be harder to clean. The case is also easy to put on. UAG case has better quality feel of plastic and feels like the case would be able to last a few years with regular use. The protective bumpers on the corners are nice and sturdy. The only downside to the UAG case is the locking corners in the front but that is the only downside I found other than trying to figure out how to put the case on. YouTube has that covered though. The UAG case is definitely better than the INCASE brand I was looking at when actually having them in your hands to compare in my opinion. ... show more

  • Still Great after three years
Size: MacBook Pro 13" (2020) Color: Clear Ice
Very well made. I bought the case in 2020 and still use it. It's very sturdy and I will never buy anything different. I love the way it snaps shut, and over the last three years it has held up better than any computer case I've ever had (and I've had a LOT of them). Many of my previous cases have eventually had pieces that broke off, but that hasn't happened with this one. I remove it periodically to clean it and my computer, and it is still fully intact. ... show more

  • solid craftsman ship, does not overheat the laptop
Size: MacBook Pro 13" (2020) Color: Clear Ice
I love this case, it slightly elevates your laptop, and the case feels super solid Pros: I may have got lucky with a good product, Sturdy, tough, fits well on A2338 m1 Mac, the part that clips from the screen to bottom left and right corner when the screen in shut is slightly flexible and allows you to ever so slightly "pull" the two edges it outwards to open the Mac, I don't close my screen more than a couple times a day so opening/closing has not been a major concern for me given the protection those edges offer, I previously had a different case which looked nice but wasn't fitting properly which resulted in secondary damage of the LCD screen to my brand new laptop -takes patience when installing, but worth it for since you usually only put a case on once unless you are doing a thorough cleaning every now and then. ... show more

  • Great corner protection, but clips closed a little too well for my preference.
Size: MacBook Pro 13" (2020) Color: Clear Ice
I bought this because I wanted more protection specifically on the corners of my MacBook. I'm not as careful as I should be with it, especially when dropping it into my backpack or putting my backpack down on the floor with my laptop inside. One thing people really like about this case is that it clips the MacBook closed. I thought I'd like that too, but frankly those clips work a little too well. It takes two hands to open it and honestly I'm just too lazy for that. I decided to take the MacBook out of the case and basically remove that feature by sanding down the clips with a Dremel (I don't necessarily recommend this, do it at your own risk). It stays attached just fine but now it's both well protected and I can open it with one hand. So if you're looking for something to firmly keep your MacBook closed, this is absolutely the case for you (I could see that being great with small children especially). If not, that's 'technically' a removable feature. Any way you use it, it's much better protection than any other clamshell case I've seen so far. ... show more

Size: MacBook Pro 13" (2020) Color: Clear Ice
Would recommend and worth the price for superior materials used. It has a Snug fit, Modern look and provides Excellent protection. Although it is Lightweight the item still holds up and is Durable, but with a Sleek aesthetic.

  • May damage the Screen
Size: MacBook Pro 13" (2020) Color: Clear Ice
Product in my opinion needs to be redesigned, I used UAG in my old Macbook pro and I forgot that I filed down the retention tabs, the newest macbook pros, the screen is very thin, when you close the lid w one hand, half of the screen will remain open, and half will be closed, that happens because the closing tap is on the way, it is desing to impede the laptop to open up when it is drop, but the issue is that also impede the laptop to be closed easily, the chances for your laptop to roll downstair is slim, comparing to casual drops, so there is no need for the lid be so effectively close, hard to open and hard to close; so, if you do not apply same force in both side of the screen, one side of the screen will remain open creating un-necessary tension on the screen please go back, re- design you s**** I am returning both, the case for the air and pro, thanks Amazon Prime UPDATE: I ended up grabbing my rotatory tool and file down the retention tabs, now everything is working fine, I can’t believe how tone deaf is the manufacturer The retention tabs impedes way to strongly the lid to open, so opening is a pain, in another hand, closing is hard, a lot of time half of the screen will be close, and half will not be, so your screen will be at an angle, Bottom Line: don’t buy it until the manufacturer updates this issue, we shouldn’t be the one fixing things ... show more

  • If you're nervous because of the negative reviews on here don't be
Size: MacBook Pro 13" (2020) Color: Clear Ice
I just received this product and put on my macbook. When I was purchasing I was hesitant because of the negative reviews saying it was hard to put on (to the point it could break your screen) and that the plastic locking tabs were way too hard to open. I found both of these things to be untrue! While putting it on is not totally intuitive, it is easy to figure out. You do not need to press on the screen very hard to get the top on. It is a little hard to tell at first if it is on all the way, but if you're pushing hard on the screen you're trying too hard. The plastic locking tabs are relatively soft and easy to open, if they were easier to open it would defeat the purpose of the locking mechanism. Luckily I haven't put the durability to the test yet, but it seems like a very good product. ... show more
