I purchased this for my kids MacBook Air for school. My wife has bought one of the other thin plastic ones for her work laptop and I kept noticed that all the one she gets keep cracking and breaking. It’s really worth spending the extra money to just have one that works and stays. This fits very snuggly and protects well. I do recommend reading instructions or watching a video on how to install them as I did read some reviews for people had broken the screen trying to put it on. I did not have any problem as I read the instructions and put it on as recommended.

Fits the A2337 model well. Installation was pretty easy, just use caution and take your time when seating the screen into the case. First, I recommend pressing lightly on the bit of silver metal around the top edge of the screen to get it set under the shallow clips. Slowly work your way down along the sides of the screen. The sides don't make an audible "click" when seated, so don't overdo your pressing, expecting it to click like the bottom portion does. Don't force anything and your screen will be fine. Remember, the MacBook Air's screen is super thin by design and inherently fragile. I don't plan on removing this case, so removal is not something I tested. We'll cross that bridge if/when the time comes. The case does have cutout vents along the bottom, so I don't expect it to have major heat buildup issues. I'll update the review if I find otherwise. The MacBook doesn't have any fans after all and relies completely on heat transfer through the metal housing so the plastic case will act as an insulator and detract somewhat from the "caseless" heat dissipation ability. I look forward to using this case for work from home, office, and on the road. Based on initial impressions and installation, I would recommend this case for the A2337 model.

This was my using this on the A2179 2020 MacBook Air Pro: Durability: The case is not slippery like most of the hard plastic cases are and I like the grippy part in the back. It also isn’t stick like some of the other grippy material you see on cases. Plastic seems of quality. I am a very clumsy person and my computer feels very safe. The case is also very snug against the computer which I like. It makes it feel even more secure. (See cons list!!) Easy to remove: Some of the comments say they shattered the screen while taking off the case. They were probably taking it off incorrectly. Looks good: I like the profesional safe look of the case. It’s not fancy but someone could always personalize it with stickers. I like that it is clear and you can see the Apple sign. Cons: ( after using the case for a few days) Putting the case on: I found this very difficult and could never get it to sit the way wanted it to. I honestly was afraid I was going to shatter the screen trying to get the case in. Comes off: whenever I tried to move my computer screen back a little bit, the corner unclicked (see photos). I tend to fidget a lot so I found this really annoying bc it would come off, I would realist put the case back on again, then I would unclick it accidentally and mess with it before restarting the process all over again. If you can stop yourself from messing with the case it truly is a good one. I can’t do it’s just not going to work for me. Overheats: My computer started overheating. Granted: I don’t know if this was because I had a lot of programs open at the same time or the case. But, I still was a little disappointed in that. Price: honestly that is a lot of money but I understand you’re making an investment. Conclusion: I am going to return the case and get something else. I do think that this case is safer than the hard plastic shells but I am willing to take that risk.

Overall I’m happy with it but it’s kind of difficult to get the MacBook to lock in properly. Once it locks in though, it’s a solid fit. The only things I don’t like is when I close the laptop, it doesn’t really lock like I hoped. Also, you can’t plug things into the USB ports unless it’s a small cable. My MacBook Air only has two usb-c ports. So I bought a thing that plugs into those ports and offers USB ports ( not c ports) and a card reader. With this cover, it doesn’t fit. So I had to buy a new one that just has a short cable that connects. Overall though it’s a good cover.
