The product is easy to hold, but a bit more slippery than I would like. I'm used to rubber-textured cases like otterboxes, but I don't like how otterboxes scuff my phone with the hard interior casing. This, by comparison, feels somewhat flimsier by itself, though mostly at the camera area (this s21 ultra is like 1/4 camera xD). The interior is a smoother plastic, so scuff damage will be minimized, I hope. When attached to the phone, though, it feels remarkably sturdy, and DANG is it beautiful! Easily the nicest looking case I've ever bought. The back of it is a delight delight hold while texting- the thick ridges help me feel like my phone isn't just gonna slide out of my hand like some other cases do, plus it's just fun to feel. I'm excited to have a new, cosmetic-oriented case that is also built for protection. I'll edit my review with some results of overall protections later. Edit: The case is still beautiful and is still protecting my phone. When I take my phone out of the case to examine it, my phone shows zero signs of wear and tear (the case is not scuffing the phone). If the screen falls on a flat surface, it's safe due to the very slightly raised and beveled edge. If the phone gets hit on the case, the phone is completely safe. Zero issues with drops when it lands on the case. I have a couple of complaints, though - if there is anything uneven about the surface or object it hits when dropped, then the screen easily takes the full brunt of the hit (such as a mostly flat surface with a slight elevation in the middle). I have dropped this phone twice and the screen protector cracked on the top right corner with fairly light hits that the low edge did not block. That's what the screen protector is for, but I am nonetheless alarmed that it has already broken. My second complaint is that the case is more slippery than I thought. Directly comparing with otterbox, which my work phone has, I very frequently drop my personal phone just because it slips easily out of my hand while holding it, but I don't have the same issue with the Otterbox. This case is amazing, and I love it. I am maintaining the high rating I gave it, because it is nonetheless an excellent product. As much as I like this case and as much as I love that it does not scuff the body of my phone, I am switching to an Otterbox (which has a much deeper beveled edge) and keeping this one as a back up. The case is absolutely beautiful, and I'm remiss at the idea of using an Otterbox which I know will scuff the body of my phone ( have had that problem before), but the screen is the most important part of the phone, and I can't risk it breaking. ... show more

My phone has been dropped many times and it still lives!! The case can come apart from the phone easily with a gently push from my finger, this is why I took off a star. It looks nice and serves its purpose. Not sure if I want to spend as much as I did with this purchase for my next case. I wish it was a tighter fit with medium pressure to remove the case. When I mean gentle push at the corner I mean gentle as gentle gets. It has not come out of the case in my pocket but it bothers me. ... show more

Feels good in your hand; not slick at all. Very fine build quality. I have dropped my Samsung Galaxy S21 ultra on hard surfaces several times with no damage to the phone OR case. The buttons on the side of the phone work really well, much better than the old UAG case on my old S20. Also, I really like the mallard color. Pictures don't do it justice. Much better looking in person. This case fits nice and snug on the phone but not so tight that it's difficult to remove. Best case I have ever owned. ... show more

I'm not sure about the durability of the product, but the comfort of this case is decently done. I just wish the back was made of an industrial aluminum or titanium, but no, it's plastic. The case has done well on mid range drops quite well

This case is well made, comfortable and secure in the hand, with nice textures, from the faux leather to the rubberized perimeter and smooth sculpted plastic backpack in which the faux leather is inset. Its just rugged enough without being overly bulky. There's not much of a lip on the front which helps it maintain a thinner profile but makes the screen a bit more vulnerable then some other designs. This is my second UAG phone case. Very nice metallic look without being too flashy. I have big hands and this allows me to grip my phone with ease. Tolerances are very tight and it feels very secure. Wow, I had seen this case in stores but did not really know how think and sturdy it is. I had a previous version on my S9+, for a couple of years and it is still great. Ordered the UAG plasma and am preferring it due to the slightly slimmer/lighter design.
