I have used UAG rugged covers for my last 3 phones. Drop them all the time on sidewalks & asphalt. Don't need a screen protecter as the phone is wearing armour. Wish they cost less, but wish everything costed less!

I will be sending this case back after only using it for half a day. It’s not the same monarch I have seen in past iPhones. First off the bottom carbon fiber insert already has a very noticeable scratch and it hasn’t been dropped at all. It feels just like the pathfinder but is $20 more expensive. I've been using the UAG phone covers through the last five iterations of iPhone and have never damaged a phone by dropping it. I take part in high-impact sports and keep my phone in my left front pants pocket almost continuously. I've dropped my phones onto tile floors and concrete parking lots with no impact damage. The UAG covers are only slightly thicker than the cheaper brands, but the protection is amazing. The covers give you a great grip on the phone. The control buttons don't lose responsiveness. My magnetic charger at home works perfectly through the case, but the one in my truck does not. These cases are the best. Combine this case with super-hard screen and lens covers and your phone is as tough as it will ever be. ... show more
