UPDATED: I've had this case for three months and had no problems with it. It stays on and the area around the charging station, while narrow and flimsy on the face of the phone- is still very much intact. ORIGINAL REVIEW First, let me say, I love UAG, I've always had UAG cases for all my phones, Samsung & Apple. HOWEVER, this UAG case in GI Joe camo does not fit snugly on the top and bottom of the case, bowing in the center. Checked it against my UAG case from 2015 to see what the design differences were and it comes down to several factors: 1. The "design team in California" lol, reduced the material width on the face of the cover (top & bottom) from 4 mm to 2 mm (holy smokes we saved 2 cents per case! googley eyes) 2. On the top and bottom sides, the case opening for the iPhone charging cable is just short of gigantic, measuring at a whopping 7 mm! The actual charging opening is only 2 mm... Wow! This leaves a tolerance of 2.5 mm on either side- larger than the size of the charging port itself! For comparison, the 2015 UAG Samsung case is cut VERY close to the charging port opening, the material even bevelled for an engineered fit, measuring 7 mm. The port opening for the cable is exactly 5 mm, leaving a tolerance of 1 mm on each side. So, there you have it folks, in addition to narrowing the frame of the case, the tolerance on either side of the charging cable port for the UAG iPhone 12 pro max is unnecessarily large, which explains the flimsiness and lack of a secure fit. I'm really surprised this case made it out onto the retail market, because QA/QC should have flagged this in the prototype stage. Hopefully, UAG fires their fancy "design team in California," because this is unacceptable from a manufacturing, marketing, performance & customer satisfaction standpoint. And definitely unacceptable from a designer's standpoint. ... show more

I love camo but this one looks terrible, maybe its more for a kid seller did not respond to my message so I'm just going to return it. Verizon has the all black version of this one for 20 bucks less which will look better with my blue phone. Other than the bad camo job UAG makes the best cases so I'm only deducting 2 stars ... show more

This product DOES NOT WORK as advertised. It will not allow the iPhone 12 Pro Max to charge wirelessly. I’ve been trying it for a couple of months now. I’ve used it on two wireless charges and it didn’t work. I bought a new charger, aTHIRD CHARGER, to see if it would allow my iPhone to charge with this case on and again it didn’t work. Do not buy this product if you want to charge wirelessly. I have been in contact with UAG and so far they have not been willing to return or exchange the item. So I’m very disappointed in this product. It was a waste of money for me because I have to buy a case that ACTUALLY WORKS with wireless charging and UAG PRODUCTS DO NOT WORK with wireless charging. ... show more

This case will fit an iPhone 12 Pro but I found that it does not fit snug which allows dust to intrude into the corners as well as finding the phone coming out of one of the corners of the case on a frequent basis. This seems to be a universal problem of one size fits all iPhone cases. Otherwise the quality is great. Color has not faded and the case has protected my iPhone 12 from all kinds of drops. With some improvements this could be a great case - on par with Otterbox. ... show more

    • Wireless Charging Is No More!!

I always liked UAG cases and have owned at least four of them over the years. The corners are thick enough and the lip protects the front. The back of the case has decent thickness also. The main problem I have with this particular case, for my iPhone 12 Pro Max, is the wireless charging doesn’t work. It may detect the wireless signal, but it still won’t charge, even sitting still all night. I have tried to no success on three different wireless chargers of different makes. The fact is that the advertising is wrong. It states it supports wireless charging which is incorrect! It doesn’t easily detect any charging signal if any at all. I have two stars because of the false advertising and I had to retool my charging a bit for my new iPhone 12 Pro Max. I previously had an iPhone X Pro Max which worked perfectly with wireless charging and the exact same model and of style case. I’m not sure what the issue is. I would guess that the case wasn’t tested and/or they just decided to use the same ad copy. I still decided to keep this case as it works for me. Now I plug it in. A minor inconvenience but doesn’t work as indicated so beware if wireless charging is important to you! ... show more

Positives: Case is solid, fits phone perfect, buttons work great, looks really good! Frosted clear back, not frosted too much, you can still see the Apple logo nicely and the UAG branding is silver, small, and very clean. Negatives: No MAGSAFE! Extremely annoying since i have Magsafe chargers all over the place, will not work with this case! The sides of this case are a dark ash color, when i ordered i thought the whole case was totally clear. Not a deal breaker but just a heads up! The MAGSAFE may be a deal breaker for some for sure! ... show more

    • Messed up a perfectly good design

I’ve been using uag cases since the Samsung galaxy s3 so I figured this case would’ve been like the ones I used but it’s very different. For starters there is not more corner stabilizers so the phones spins and slides on my table. The bump on the back is awkward and unlike old uag cases where you could choose to put your finger in the indentation on the back of the case you can no longer do that here. I don’t understand why uag would take features out of the case that was perfect before. I am seriously contemplating getting a new case because while the phone sliding around is a minimal complaint and I don’t doubt the durability of the case I can’t stand my phone sliding and spinning around and it being awkward to hold. I’m very disappointed in uag and expected better. The cases is made from the same material as old cases so again the durability of the cases should be amazing, just the design is such a slap in the face for someone who expects the same or similar features to older case designs. ... show more
