I’m 5’7” and 168lbs with a pear shape. I purchased a Large (usually an XL in shorts because of my ample behind) and they fit true to size! Rise is roughly at my navel. They’re quite short, so i personally will just wear them as house shorts (my goal), but some women will feel confident enough to wear them out and about. Fabric is thin in a good way— i live in a swampy climate, so these shouldn’t smother me like some thicker, sweatpant material shorts do. All in all, a great purchase. These are adorable and super comfortable. They ride up a tiny bit while bending and doing stuff, but literally most shorts will do that a tiny bit. Thinner material, but not see through, and its breathable! I chose size large, as is my usual, and it was a perfect fit. Going to buy all the colors :)
