Like every Fall I am inundated with leaves. Over the years I've tried various traditional options like using a tarp and raking and blowing leaves onto it using a back-pack air blower, etc. This is labor intensive, takes the entire gorgeous weekend, and I can say I hate doing it. I bought the bagging system designed for my riding mower, thinking this will be a breeze this year. Unfortunately, like many, many other posts already identify, the capacity of the default baggers is terrible for leaves, in particular. I am waiting until spring when I can find out if those default baggers will hold some decent amount of grass clippings without the leaves.. Will see. On to this review... The GOOD: - First, this bag does hold a LOT. Which is one of the reasons I purchased it. With the power of the tractor pulling it, I figured I'd get a lot more than 10 feet before having to empty it. And, I certainly do! When I am not cutting the grass as part of the leaf collection, it is awesome. When I also cut grass while leaf collecting, I intentionally collect less due to the weight and make more frequent stops to empty it. - Next, the bag material is THICK. I honestly do not believe it will wear out very soon. I try and only pull it across grass, and avoid concrete (Pulling it across the driveway and sidewalks, etc.) So, I should get at least 3-4 seasons of use out of it if not many more. (unless... see the BAD.) - Emptying the bag: In my neighborhood leaves go to the curb for collection each season. Emptying this bag allows me to pull parallel to the curb, swing the end of the bag over the curb, unzip it and manually shake out the leaves. It works well. I would not recommend removing the bag and re-attaching it each time you dump it. Once the bag is attached, mine will stay attached for the whole season, lol. (See below on mounting it in the first place) - Cord is very durable with two plastic cord clamps. - Zipper - I can say two things about the zipper. First, DON'T LET THE ZIPPER open all the way into the corner. Doing so seems to make it very difficult to re-close. keep in mind I am standing at the rear of the tractor holding the end of the bag trying to close the zipper. This needs to be quick, not something I want to futz with. The teeth get hung up and look like they will come out of the pull which takes time to re-align so it will close. A simple safety pin to stop the zipper from opening all the way has saved me lots of time. With that said, the zipper is the zipper. It doesn't feel industrial, but it has held up for me once I put the safety pin on it. A whip-stitch would also work to block the zipper from going all the way to the corner, but I didn't have any durable line. The BAD: - As many, many posts have clearly outlined already is getting these large bags mounted (While not specific to just this one, this brand does not provide a better method than any other.) I didn't want to reduce the rating because of this, as every default bagger system is different and the drawstring option seems to be the default available for any of these bags to mount. I would say I am somewhat decent at figuring things out, but after 30 mins trying various mounting methods and performing test runs across my yard only to lose the bag and have to walk back and pull it back to the tractor because it slipped off, I was in front of the tubes learning how others attach these things. I will say those vids suggested pulling this bag all the way around the enclosure of your existing bagging system hood and cinching it as tightly as possible. While true, this does seem to work, it completely changes the angle of how the bag rests on the ground, changes the emptying process I go through due to now having less length available and this fully-wrapped option ended up slipping off repeatedly on me even though I tightened as much as the cord would allow. If it didn't slip off this way, it would end up popping open somewhere around the cord and cover me in dust. Stop, brake the tractor, fiddle with tightening and try again and again... - The cord that is sewn into this bag is very durable. Again, no worries about breakage here. The issue I have with this cord is it is not 'elastic'. I pull it as tight as I can and that's it. Although, I am not sure any elastic would be strong enough and hold its elasticity over time anyway. The thick bag is cumbersome to try and cinch around the unusual angles of my default bagger even when enclosing the entire hood system. So, more escape holes would pop open and cover me in dust as the bag gains weight. - I did end up breaking one of the cord-clips as I heaved on the cord and tried to slip the clamp tight. But, since there is only 1 cord (wrapped twice around the bag and sewn in), I have to cinch using the clip on the opposite side of the bags opening. Not a deal breaker by any means for me. Again, I'll take some fiddle time over an entire weekend of raking and raking and raking and raking! - The mesh vent hole - It is required that airflow have a path, I completely get it. My twin bladed 48" mower moves a ton of air as it cuts. Unfortunately, this bag provides an insufficient rectangular mesh 'window' to enable airflow through the bag. So this mesh does not seem to be large enough. What ends up happening is the bag inflates (literally like a Halloween decoration) and I get some blow-back under my deck out the sides. It basically shoots leaves to the right and left under my tractor. Not enough where this bag doesn't work, but it is annoying. Once I finish the yard, I end up going back over a few of the rows it creates from this blowback. Not a huge deal, and again I'll take the comfort of sitting and steering towards those little lines of leaves, but could certainly be easily corrected by design. - Suggestion to vendor: Enlarge the mesh vent. The vent is on the top of the bag, not being dragged, so having a lager hole would work much better to allow large volumes of airflow through it (consequently more suction to pick up the leaves). NOTE: While the suggestion is to entirely cover your bagging system hood, I ended up mounting the bag around the lip of my hood instead. So that the bag basically hangs straight down around the edge of my plastic hood, similar to how the default bags hang down, but on the outside of my hood. I will say I also HAVE to use squeeze clamps around the perimeter of the hood to not only keep the bag attached this way as the cord is as tight as I can make it, but to also keep those blinding dust holes closed due to pressure popping open around the cord. Once I remembered I had clamps as an option, game over, this bag is awesome. While I generally don't appreciate having to use other unrelated parts to get the original part to work properly, I'll take it over any other leaf collection I've used so far. This bag holds a lot and allows me to feel like I am making progress without having to stop every 10 seconds to empty. Note 2: If you don't mind a "fiddle-factor" getting this bag to fit just right, and you absolutely don't want to manually rake again and again this is for you.

I bought 2. the zipper broke on 1 the first time I used it. I'll assume it's a factory defect. The second one is pretty good. When full it weighs too much for one person to handle.

I really wanted this to work but like other reviews I’ve seen it was really heavy and that made it hard to empty also it did sag and leaves blew out that opening and up your back in the instructions they know of this problem and recommend tying a knot behind the closers slides but that doesn’t help still sags had to clamp mine up to stop that. Ended up returning it and bought an agrifab lawn sweeper more expensive but no headaches just sweep and dump.

Lets start with the pro's. Its crazy durable, very heavy duty. You could mow a lawn of razor blades and this bag would come out unscathed. It's well priced. The bags durability is its downfall. This bag is super heavy over 10 lbs and the material is is very tuff so to able to sinch the bag shut requires quite a bit of effort. The simple push button on the draw string starts loosening almost immediately just under the bags own weight. Once you start collecting leaves the draw string just loosens up and leaves are blowing up your back. This starts with the bag maybe a 1/4 filled making it almost usless. The only way I was able to get this to work properly was to use a small locking tie down to hold it in place. Quite a pain in the ass. I have used plenty of these bags in the past and generally they are made our of thin nylon like a laundry bag. Super light and super easy to use. Now I get they probably only last a couple of season before tearing but again super easy to use and worked flawlessly. I appreciate that this company went in a different direction and attempted to make a bag that will outlast a nuclear blast but if it falls off everytime you use whats the point? Just for an FYI I am using with my 48" Poulan double bagger lawn tractor. UPDATE. I returned it as one of the features this bag has is a full zipper at the end to make it easier to dump leaves. 2nd time using the zipper broked.

Works well. Decent quality. As others have noted- zipper came apart easily. Theres no stop on it so you end up zipping the zipper right off where its loosely sewn in.
