Well made frames with single white mat at a reasonable price point. I needed to have a grouping of my smaller paintings (on paper) matted/framed for a month long installation/presentation. Replaced their mat with my own double mat. Their mat has a strong chemical order but that wasn't my motivation to trade out mats. I might buy another pack of these just to have on hand. Selected the 12 x 16 black frames to hold 9 x 12 acrylic paintings on paper. Really pleased as they far exceed the Michael's poster frames. I like NOT having a glass front & instead a lighter weight clear plastic cover like you might get with the "pick off the shelf" photo frames at Michael's. As other reviews have said..BOTH sides of the clear plastic front have a think film needs to be removed beforehand. I use a small piece of tape to grab the corner and remove the cling film from each side. ... show more

I use these as temp frames for commission clients at shows so they can have temporary housing for artwork until they find more suitable frames. For the price, you really can't beat it. Perfect to display tabloid size (11"x17") pieces and crystal clear mylar. Plus, they're light and won't add much weight if you're bringing 1-2 for an out-of-state show. I love these frames! I bought them to frame gifts I got for my birthday. The fact it comes with 5 for the price is crazy. They’re great quality, and very easy to use. The “glass” is actually a thick plastic, which I prefer because I don’t trust my hanging skills LOL! But if you prefer glass, these don’t have any. They are very cute though and don’t look cheap! I was a little concerned about these frames because of some reviews saying that they were flimsy. I’m glad I bought this pack of frames! They are exactly what I wanted for hanging racing posters in my garage. I mounted the posters on foam board and put the back on. It is a little tight, but it looks great on the wall. I bought 4 sets of 8 x 10 frames to make a grid of photos on our wall. They are well made, but inexpensive. The back hardware to hang them is in the exact spot on each, making it easier to hang them in a row. I get these frames for photo collage prints. I like that they use acrylic instead of glass, so the entire frame is really light - you can mount it on the wall with just one thumbtack. Also, you don't have to worry about broken glass if it gets knocked off the wall. It's also really easy to put your artwork into the frame - just have to swivel some spring-loaded clips to detach and re-attach the frame backing. The only down-side I've noticed is that since there is only one mounting hole, once you hang the picture, it may not hang straight. I just added some adhesive felt dots to the backside of the frame on the bottom two corners so that you can adjust the position of the frame, and it will somewhat stay in place. The only real issue with this is that I find that they are pretty cheap feeling. Just feel like cheap plastic and very light. However everything else is great, they are modern design, they come with some nice hooks, that seem like they can hold a solid amount of weight.
