Nicely packed, pretty metal - looks like brushed aluminum. The corners are preserved with sturdy plastic protectors. There are lots of hanging options - see back of frame photo. The mats are a very nice pure white - see front of frame photo. These frames would look great as part of a wall hanging group of art or family photos. However, one of the frames arrived with a blemish - see last photo. The metal has a dark place which cannot be cleaned off as it is a lack of finish on the metal. The vendor needs to encourage a little better inspection before shipping. I still gave the frames 4 stars because I think they are handsome and a good value and because Amazon wouldn't hesitate to replace the defective product. ... show more

I really like these frames, as they seem to be good quality and they are pretty looking. I really wanted an 8x10 with a black outside edge, but it was sold out so all I could get was the next size up, which was the 12x16 that leaves a matte around the picture so you can fit in 8x10 inside, which is what I needed. However, it takes up a lot more room space because it's bigger than I needed it to be. But they're okay to keep for now and when I get some time to go shopping I'll get another set and swap these out. One of them is great though, as it fits a rather large poster type picture that I got of a nice quote with a picture with it. Overall, they're good frames and they come as described. I would recommend them, as long as you get the size you want and if you can't, then size up where it shows what size picture the mat can take so that you can make the picture in the Middle look nice with the mat around it so it's a nice even space. ... show more

I have some photo enlargements I wanted to frame. These came packaged very well with corner guards for protection. The color is as expected and shown in the photos. I like that this comes with archival plastic instead of glass. The plastic is just as clear but won't break in the event of an accidental drop. My photos fit perfectly and look great. The price on these two frames is about what I would expect to pay for just one at the art supply store, so I consider these a great value! ... show more
